CarrionCrow: I'm figuring the swastikas are the reason. Have heard it mentioned before, and it's a WW2 game so there's probably some imagery that the government finds disagreeable.
Still idiotic, though. It's not like they're going to eradicate the image from the minds of every citizen by banning something that shows it.
The reason is that it is forbidden to show them outside of documentary purpose. That is why normally the games which have them get a censored German version. Still idiotic, though. It's not like they're going to eradicate the image from the minds of every citizen by banning something that shows it.
moonshineshadow: Hmm... that is hard to answer. Since I am normally reading mostly fantasy books. That is why I do not really have a clue where I could start reading classics.
ddickinson: I recently enjoyed a book called Phantastes by George MacDonald. It is considered one of the cornerstones of Fantasy literature, and is credited for helping to inspire authors such as Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. I will have a look at my books tomorrow to make some more personal reconsiderations, but in the mean time, here is a list of some Fantasy classics listed on GoodReads.
