Ragnarblackmane: Have had a bad few days due to serious real life crises with my family, but this felt good...

I'll bet that did feel good, they're not on of my favorite people either. :/
Is your family OK and the crises settled down?

Not really, I posted here awhile ago about my father being in the hospital and his situation hardly improving, he spent some weeks at one of the worst rehab/old folk's homes I've ever heard of or seen(note to self:Die before I let someone put me in such a hole) then was moved back to the hospital after suffering bedsores and for a biopsy. Well, the doctor who performed the biopsy, despite having a "stellar reputation" managed to mash down nerves near his spine which caused numbness and eventually excruciating pain in his right leg. He's being taken over to a different rehab center soon, either this evening or tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile starting at about Sunday morning at 3am my mom got flu-like symptoms and luckily I was staying over so was able to take care of her. We were hopeful it was just a 24 hour bug but she became ill again sometime yesterday, went to the doctor today to see if she had mursa which she might have gotten from visiting my dad in the hospital and spending most of her days there, then got sent to get a test for blood clots in her leg, but luckily they didn't find proof of that.

It's been a hellish few days.

ddickinson: Sorry to disappoint you. But I will leave you with your Anime. I have not clicked the link, as I have had my fill of the strange stuff that goes on in Japanese Anime these days. Very strange and worrying what you get in Anime now, even kids Anime.

EBToriginal: The start of astroboy is the brilliant roboticist can't deal with the automobile death of his six year old sun, so he builds and robot just like him and spends the entire run treating him like his actual sun(including doing out spankings). Fucked up and super unhealthy. Anime has always been crazy.
What I find really creepy is that shounen manga heros, have motivations and personalities that in other places would be regarded as unhealthy and automatically land them in psychological treatment. Yet in Japan are considered "positive" qualities.

Japan is fucked up.

I willfully engage in hard bdsm and edgeplay, and I have to agree, Japan is quite fucked up.
Prepare yourself. You're getting hugged.*hugs*

Sorry to hear that :(
I hope they both get better quickly.

Hey everyone, just finished catching up (again). I need to make following this thread my full time job it seems..

Sucks about the region blocking on German games... I know it's the law, but I think the problem is that they were already here and being sold and applying the block now seems really odd (as opposed to Hotline Miami which has never been sold to Aussies so it's not being taken away)

I got some absolutely amazing turkey pastrami recently.

LaPtiteBete: Damm*t, j0ekerr, what the h*ll is this ?? Õ__ô you've got weird readings
Some tween-aimed adventure comic. Yes I'm not shitting you, that's aimed at 12-15 year olds.

I find it hilarious in its outrageousness.

Although I did keep questioning myself about why the fuck I was reading that.

It's quite obvious Crow is not the only masochist around.

The whole thing with australia is just... facepalm-worthy. I wouldn't be surprised if the powers that be, in their nanny mentality decided to order their ISPs to block any and all access to online purveyors of computerized corruption, over one single case.

I haven't read too much about it, but looking at the list of games and why they are banned is hilarious...

I thought the Irish banning The Life of Brian was ridiculous....

Well my dad's 73, this is likely the beginning of the end for him. He's lost a lot of weight, he doesn't seem to be getting a whole lot better.
