EndreWhiteMane: I get the shivers just seeing that, our losses in 2008 exceeded 1 billion dollars. Horrible thing, feel very bad for those people.
Whether it's here or any where else in the world,it's just a fact of life nowadays....Sad sure but they will get on with life..

gunsynd: Hi dd
St Helens get a talking to:-)
avatar
ddickinson: hi, Gunny!

I would expect so. I mean if you owned that team would you have been happy about their performance? It's one thing to be beat like the other two matches, which were closely scored, but to get beat by a new record score while doing nothing in return, that's not really acceptable for a professional team.
Funny thing that:St George finished 11th our comp and beat your 3rd placed...
..........................Broncos finished 7 or 8 and beat your 2nd placed
..........................Souths finished 1st and thrash your first.......
See the pattern,English Super League is still a long way behind us...

Evening all.

After all that talk of pizza earlier we decided to have some for dinner, so I've just finished making the dough.
Going to have them while watching the finale of Broadchurch later.

They also had easter eggs for £1 in the supermarket... so we bought 6... I don't see any of them lasting till tomorrow night (but in our defence they are only small...)

How is everyone? Got any plans for the rest of the evening?

ddickinson: You remember the old saying: "You're only as young as the woman you feel." :-)

GOG has a habit now of not commenting these days. If they come out and say the game is not finished and who knows when it will be, the who would buy it? Personally, judging by the list Ragnar posted of the things they left out and that are not finished, I am willing to bet that the game is never patched to completion. It won't be financially viable for the company, as by the time they get around to it, the fan base will have died, so it will just get abandoned. Annoying many customers. GOG really shouldn't let them sell the game, but I guess they don't want the developer to pull all their games from GOG.

Also, did you notice that the Bestsellers section on the front page is now called Popular? This makes it a lot easier for them to manipulate the list for their own gains. Just like they did with the reviews on the new pormo page layout.
I totally read that as "new porno page" and I was like "Que?" for a split second.

Personally a lot of gog's decisions lately have been disappointing to me and I guess it's the price we pay for their continued growth. I just hope they don't lose sight of their roots too much.

Oh I'm anticipating Broadchurch's release stateside in March. I could always find it online and watch it but I'll wait for BBC America to show it properly. I loved the first season despite very rarely enjoying anything resembling modern-day police procedurals. The two main cast members help a lot, longtime fan of both, and of course the story is anything but a normal procedural show.

They tried to mount a series based on it here with the Tenth Do-I mean David Tennant reprising his role but it failed, probably too cerebral and deep for most 'murrikans.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to think that...

I doubt I would have any interest if not for David and Olivia's excellent performances. The story is good but nothing particularly special but they make it excellent.
David Tennant is a fantastic actor (and just a genuinely decent guy from what I've seen)

Agreed on both counts. Olivia Coleman is great, especially considering I'd really only known her as a comedian (Peep Show and The Mitchell and Webb Look mostly) but I thought her performance was riveting.

I'd never really seen her in anything else, but she's won a string of awards for stuff and she is excellent in Broadchurch so I'll definitely look our for her in the future.

EndreWhiteMane: I like it. :)

Wonder where Crow went, been a long time since he was on.

Edit: Main trouble with some pills is either fatigue or stomach trouble.
So far the stomach is OK, the fatigue takes a while to show up. Fingers crossed.
Have to get another ekg on Thursday, if it's OK the doc will up the strength of the pills, right now I'm trying 1/2 dose.
Good afternoon. =)

I'm here. Woke up a bit ago, having my last cigarette as I type this.
Things are going to get interesting. -laughs-

Joker Rabbit was wondering when I'd start Dark Souls.
What I didn't tell them is that I've been waiting to start it for when I started having nicotine withdrawal, just to make it hurt more. -laughing harder-

How's your day been going?

Hey. Day's been going fine here.

Hey there. Good evening. =)

Just depends on the moment. ;) Glad to hear your day's been going decently.

Additional - nothing says good times like beating a Meat Boy level for the first time after 500 deaths, only to find you didn't do it fast enough to get A+ ranking.
Time to do it again, only faster. -laughs-

I start to hate Operation Scrooge . I want to purchase these games :

Empire Earth 3
Rogue Trooper
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum!
Sniper Elite: Berlin 1945

but this budget plan doesn't let me to do it .
800 tries later, another level beaten with both A+ ranking and bandage retrieved.

I think I startled a cat by screaming at one point.

Hello Owl! *hello hug*

Well it's true, you were not here and now Endre is cross-dressing and collecting cheerleaders. :-)

I had a very nice evening, thank you. I'm on a bit early tonight as my partner is feeling a bit under the weather and she has gone to bed for the night. I think it's just a cold, and hopefully it wasn't my cooking. :-)

How are you tonight? Have you had a nice evening?
Hi again folks, took my noon pills and when mixed with my new pills, voila', instant nap. Wow.
Slept for 2 hours. Gonna have to get used to those a bit. :-)

Good evening, Endre! *hello hug*

At least you got a nice nap, hopefully that is the worse of the pills side effects.
