I had to work (unusually) and take care of the owlets ; then go to see my parents who were back from their latest travel... meet some friends... the time got away from me.

Here I'm fine... a bit tired, despite my wonderful 8 hours sleep, 3 days ago... Should try to go to bed a bit earlier tonight !
My weekend was nice, thanks !! not very resting, but I saw my family, and a friend spent saturday's evening with me, this was cool (otherwise I would have been alone, once the kids are in bed...)
Did you do anything special ?... (other than meeting your lovely mother in law ;-p)

No, I'm saying that work, no matter how fun, comes with a certain responsibility (unless one's the weatherman) and expectations of some sort of return. The way I see gifting comes with neither of them. ;-)

Sorry to hear you are a bit tired, hopefully tonight you will be able to get some much needed sleep. I'm glad you enjoyed the day with your friend, it's always nice to have company.

My weekend was just work on Saturday, a nice evening with my partner on Saturday, then on Sunday about 12 hours driving and a few hours with my partner's mother.
