ddickinson: Good evening!

How has your Sunday been?
Not too bad. Haven't done much, a bit of reading, a bit of programming. Got a chili slow cooking in the oven for dinner. Just a slow Sunday :)

Antimateria: Tenchu is a ninja stealth game so ninja hug. I wish that series would continue.
avatar
ddickinson: Of course it is, I knew the name sounded familiar. I remember playing the games on the PSOne.

avatar
gunsynd: Good, big one is today Souths v St Helens:-)
avatar
ddickinson: I saw the scores of the other two matches and they were close, so hopefully that meant they were good games. Do you think you will make it 3-0 to Australia with tonight's game?

avatar
moonshineshadow: *comforting hug* I think the reason maybe that you were a bit to insistent for him :D
avatar
ddickinson: The Fist Puncher thing has always being a joke, but he won't accept gifts from me becasue I don't have my wishlist on a GOGWiki and I make it hard for people to gift me games. So until I start letting random people gift me games, he won't accept gifts from me.
Well I'm certainly hope so,it's a big one to win:-)
I will say this IF Souths are on their game,no one will beat them....
How's the INLAWS?
Hi dd:-)
avatar
moonshineshadow: Wow... that guy seriously does need to learn some manners.
avatar
ddickinson: I often wonder how old they all are when they behave like that. I picture them in their late teens or early 20's. But I guess they could be any age. I would hope it would be younger, as older just makes it even more sad that someone behaves like that.
Yeah, you kind of hope they're only teenagers... it's worrying to think they might be older... (although that being said, I would have hoped most teenagers these days were tech saavy enough to understand how to download something..)

That doesn't sound too bad. I have been in a car for most of the day. But hopefully we should be home in about 30 minutes. There have been some road works that caused some delay, but it's been about 5-6 hours there and the same back. I drove there and my partner is driving us back. I can't wait to get home and have a nice relaxing evening. It's surprising how tiring it can be just sitting in a car.

I can understand that a little bit. At is not that comfortable to accept gifts if you do not have a real way of returning the favor some time. And without a wishlist you are quite hard to gift ;-)

You're still on the road? :/
I don't mind driving, but two 6 hour journeys in one day is a bit much (last time I did anything like that it was when we went to Paris on National Express... one of the worst experiences ever)
At least it sounds like the day hasn't been too bad for you.

Yeah, I'm naturally lazy so sitting around all day not doing much is fine by me :)

Let us not forget that Steam users are migrating to DRM-Free (and to GoG), and they may not be used to the concept of how to manually download and install a game the old fashioned way...

They can use all the help they can get...

And a hearty greetings and good day, mid-day and evening to all. :)

Hi dd:-)
I'm not sure if I should wish you good luck or not. I guess as part of the old rivalry I can't, so I will have to back the English team. But I will wish you a good match, no matter who wins.

My day was okay, better than I expected. Luckily it was just my partner's immediate family, and three of the four are quite nice. It's mainly the extended family and the mother who are the childish ones.

Will you be watching the rugby match on T.V.? Just so I know not to mention anything if I find out the score before you have a chance to watch the match. I would hate to spoil it for you.

The problem I have is that I own virtually all of the games on GOG that interest me. The ones I don't are only of minor interest, and I don't want people spending their money on games I might not even like when I actually play them.

But that scares me.. how can you use a computer and not know how to manually download things?

And a good day / evening to you too :)

They live in Cornwall, we live in North Yorkshire, so it's basically driving the length of England and then back again. The day did not go too bad, we had a reason to visit and that went well, and I got to spend the day with my partner still, so it's not the worst day ever. I just hate wasting a day by spending most of it driving.

*big hug* ok that is bad ;-) You should find more games that really interest you so that you can make a wishlist :D

Anyone with that attitude doesn't deserve help, end of story...

I thought of that, but there have only been a few lately that interest me, and I usually buy them when I see them, leaving no reason for people to buy me games. I would prefer they spend that money on games for themselves, or for others who would enjoy a game. I do keep thinking of a GOGWiki, but most of my wishlist are just titles that I might not like or only slightly interested in.

And this leaves no doubt that she must surely adore me, right? ;-P

Think I need to check out that thread gunsynd linked to.

And good day folks, hope everyone's weekend's enjoyable.
