I never got into anime myself really, my taste is more oriented towards those movies with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost ;)

The occasional plain silly (sometimes even cheesy) Mel Brooks is welcome too.

Besides, I also get a lot of movie-like badassery and awesome moments from the Fading Suns Roleplaying sessions I hold with my comrades, so my thirst for that kind of stuff is also well taken care of.

And we don't have a TV over at my place, so it would be kind of hard to keep track of all those series anyway.

The only tv series I've ever watched was the DVD versions of Stargate Atlantis as found in the local library (only the first 5 seasons though)

So I had another epiphany last night. This one completely unrelated to buying bundles.

My favorite movie isn't anything by Wes Anderson or the Coen Brothers. The Big Lebowski is way up there. But in the end, after rewatching it both Thursday night and last night, I believe it is fairly clear that my favorite movie of all time is Goodfellas. :)
All milk is breast milk.
Question is do you prefer a pretty woman or a stinky ole' cow?

(Told you it was a threat) :-)

Good Morning All:-)

Now that's a good movie,My favorite of many is Shane:-)
I should watch the Big Lebowski sometime too, it's kind of mandatory I do so, my brother being a certified dudist priest and all that... ;)

The evening of my 18th birthday, there were no drinks, no booze, no girls, no party whatsoever, but I simply invited my 2 best, closest friends over to my place for a "bad 80ies movie" marathon. We watched Commando, Rambo, Judge Dredd and the evil dead that evening, and In the morning my body was still cramped from laughing (some hangover, that).

All the pussy in the world couldn't possibly compensate for that evening, and that's coming from a yearning 18 year old virgin ;)

Did you know in every scene of that movie Alan Ladd is on a riser. In reality he was only 5'6".

I really enjoyed Cyberpunk 2020 back in the day. I can't wait for CD Projekt Red's game, developed with the original creator of the p&p game.
like dungeons and dragons, world of darkness, Fading suns, ...

you know, where you all sit arround a table with a sheet of paper representing the capabilities of the characters you "are" in your gaming world, with a few players; and one person controlling the challenges (creatures, enemies, npc's) they are up against...It's very hard to explain really :/

Imagine sitting arround a table with your buddies playing an rpg "video game without computer", where they are the questing characters.

I never had enough real life geeky friends to do anything like that... closest would be playing Warhammer with my brother, but tabletop wargames and pen and paper RPGs are entirely different beasts.
Hey, everyone. =)

Vnlr: Good evening to you all, I hope I find you well?

Just saw they did/are doing a remaster of the two homeworlds...good to see they are still polishing their old gems up.

and I must be going mad or something, my dreams keep getting more and more random and irrational in their content, and somehow (though not entirely unwelcome), they always star a bunch of quarians...(and that while I couldn't care less about the drab mass effect games themselves)

I've been doing a little stretched out Mel Brooks marathon, and have rewatched spaceballs, blazing saddles, silent movie and young frankenstein, but I was wondering how the one with the polish theatre company during the second world war was called? with the airmen and the rediculous song with hitler in the beginning?
Good evening. =)

I think this might be part of what you're looking for.
