ddickinson: What kind of temperatures can you expect once the sun is out more and the day starts to warm up?

I guess now it's time to follow Moon's advice and play Legend of Grimrock. I'm sure a pleasant game will help cheer you up after such a horrible game. I guess the alcohol would help as well. :-)

Already did. Figure I'll go to sleep soon, skip the alcohol all together.

Then the sunrise is lost to us both.

I'm not a big fan of trying to sleep when the sun's up. Always makes it harder, and I hate tossing and turning.

5th coffee for me here... still awaken. ô__¤ *eye twitching*
I think I can hear and feel my own hearbeat... strange.
I don't need nor plan to wake up at all tomorrow morning... awesome.

CarrionCrow: Not much point to it. Last time I drank, I wiped out a bottle of whiskey in one sitting, only to be sober again 4 hours later.

And yeah, it sounds like you've got a setup that works for you. No need to screw it up with stimulants.
Whiskey is another drink I never really liked. Not sure why, but I just hated the taste. I do seem to be in the minority when it comes to coffee, most love it and seem to need a good dose to get started in the morning.

Drink enough and the heartbeat thing does become noticeable.

Just try to ride it out when you feel it in your temples. It's normal...kinda.

The chest pain is your red flag for taking a break from it. Or your hands shaking uncontrollably. Hard to do work when you're that amped up.

Hard alcohol just tastes like a variety of nail polish removers to me.
Only time it doesn't is in mixed drinks. Bloody Mary's are good. Long Island Iced Teas are also good, as long as you have someone willing to drive you home.

Actually lost the ability to speak once doing that. The only thing that came out was endless hysterical laughter.
Didn't know they had four shots apiece at the time. Drank four in about ten minutes.

In retrospect, I think I scared a bystander.
And now that I think about it, the ride back was kinda like being in a tumble dryer.

Goddamn, memory lane is a boring walk.

Screw it. Think I'll crash out instead.

Have a good night/afternoon/whichever, everyone. Try to keep sleep deprivation psychosis to a minimum. ;)

Very nice...

I'm in the minority with you about coffee. I never liked the taste, and caffeine seems to have no effect on me at all.
I'll take a cup of hot chocolate instead :-)

Owls are just beautiful creatures. We have lots several breeds near where I live and they are just so nice to watch, especially the baby/younger ones.

Too early for me to have hot chocolate. I usually have it in an evening, or on a really cold day.

Are you feeling any better today? Are we clear for hugs, or still just a pat on the back?

Just make sure you don't drink too much coffee, or that twitch might become permanent. :-)

At least with the weekend coming you don't have to worry about being up early, unless your Owlet decided she wants mummy to be awake. :-)

Hot chocolate... sounds good. Too bad I can't make some here...
I should think about it... all I need is semi-skimmed milk and some bars of this delicious belgian chocolate... u__u (drools).

Luckily, the yelling owlet is used to sleep a LOT at weekends. Last week she slept 16 hours in a row. And I had to wake her up. At past noon... ^^
