There are hunters up here but oddly enough most people are really well educated. We have two of the oldest universities in the country here so my being a dropout puts me in the bottom 5% of the population. Weird because lets face it, this is the last place in the world you'd expect to find a shitload of highly educated people, but here they are. :D

That's owl-some! ;-)
It was that way in Petoskey too, the friends we visited were a doctor and a nurse. Everyone there had rifles for the damn porcupines though. Things are like racoons with weapons and armor! ;)
EndreWhiteMane: In all honesty I love places like that. As long as it's not populated with mostly rednecks with hunting rifles I'm good. :)

** Extra speci-owl hug**
Well fuck whoever t-owl-d you that! They are so f-owl! I like them!
Better?
ddickinson: I'm afraid you can't use language like that unless you make an owl pun at the same time. Even if it's an owl-ful pun, you still have to do one. :-)
Alright, alright... Well fuck whoever t-owl-d you that! They are so f-owl! I like them!

They brought the fishers up here to eat the porcupines. Problem is the fishers ignored the porcupines and started eating everyone's pets, now we are stuck with both. It's the only animal we have that hunts for sport which makes it really the only problem up here; cougars and bears keep to themselves.tinyE: There are hunters up here but oddly enough most people are really well educated. Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. =)
Hopefully the day's going well for you all, and that people freezing their asses off will be keeping their frostbite potential as low as possible.

EndreWhiteMane: Lovely, I've seen fishers but they look so much like an American Marten I assumed their habits were the same. Animals that kill for other than food or to protect their young are scary. Edit: Clarify.
