ddickinson: You're lucky, I get a whole 24 hours (approx) off for Christmas. From the evening on Christmas Eve to late afternoon Christmas Day. I hope you enjoy your holiday and have a great time with your family.
Same here... I'll be working on Christmas Eve until midnight or later but I'll have time off work on Christmas day.. The same will be on new years eve... Anyway, Merry Christmas to all! :-)

Well, if you are willing to... rent from the competition... They have Contraption Maker for 90% off. It's kind of a spiritual remake of TIM, from the same developers.

I appreciate the heads up, but I don't use the competition. The first one looks really great and I'm sure I'll pull the trigger here some day, like I recently did with Arx Fatalis. :)

ddickinson: I work on a farm, so sadly no time off for me. The crops still need maintaining and the animals still need looking after. But I don't mind, at least I get most of Christmas Day to relax.
I'm so jealous of you! (the working on a farm part). Maybe it's the fanciful idealist in me but something about that just feels naturally wonderful.

It is a wonderful job, at least I think so :-). It's very hard work, and very time consuming, but I love the freedom, the fresh air, and I love getting my hands dirty doing a good hard days work.
