Fantasysci5: I'm pretty good today. How are you? :D
Good but pretty hot here, sweating like a group of nuns in a cucumber farm. :P
good morning!
Good morning, everyone!

*hugs and waves*
Hey everyone!

So, a friend gave me a $20 Steam gift card recently and I'm not sure what to use it on. I have a decently sized wishlist on Steam but most are not games that I'd play immediately, heck some I'm not even sure I'm really THAT interested in to be honest.

If anybody has any recommendations, throw 'em at me. Bonus points for anything with a goth-ish/alternative/dark/etc feel and/or open world. No multiplayer games please.

Anyway, I hope you're all having a good time of day :)

If you can't find anything you can always save it for the next big sale. ;)

Eh....Skyrim?
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor?
Admittedly, I'm terrible with both categories, but it's something to think about.

True :)

I'm mostly looking at CrossCode and Shadow of Mordor at the moment. Everybody I've talked to has described Shadow of Mordor as being on the upper end of mediocre overall but mediocre nonetheless, but I'm a sucker for open world games haha. I played CrossCode's demo before they had even started crowdfunding and I really really liked it, but it's currently in Early Access and I'm not too hot on that, despite the team behind the game consistently putting out regular updates so far. What to do oh what to do, I'll probably save it for now :P

Or the Batman games I guess.
Just Cause 2 is quite good, not sure about the regular price though.

Haven't heard of Crosscode, Shadow of Mordor is pretty much that. Fun if you get a good discount.

Doing alright, you doing ok?

I was thinking that, but those aren't open world, are they?

Arkham City, Origins and Knight are open-world. Pretty lacklustre open-world but open-world nonetheless...

They are. Asylum on a smaller scale.
