feeling almost human now :) ...came home last night, man, lovely when you're so tired that you know you should sleep but instead, "I'll just check out a review, and maybe something else..." and an hour passes :)

update on Dragon Age: finished a quest, my completion percentage is... still 15% :D

I've cleared two optional content sort of quests recently. Not too much of the main quest I guess.
Got some nice new equipment, that I mostly can't use yet :)
Got into enchanting, that's pretty cool :)

Oh man, the "I got AWESOME new stuff but...I can't use it yet" deal. I remember looting the Orc's weapons in Gothic 3 and not being able to use any of them due to the insane strength requirements, I carried them for over 20 hours until I had gained the strength required to use them...and use them I did.

Kingdoms of Amalur continues to be good, I'm about 2 hours in and still enjoying it. I am having one problem, the audio starts crackling when there is a lot of action going on and occasionally in dialogue. I'm not sure what is causing it, but I do know I've had the same issue in other games. It's pretty annoying.

Haha, that's an epic tale of an orc's weapon :) Must have felt kinda nice finally getting to beat a couple of monsters with that :)

Hmm... Have you tried resetting the audio settings of the operation system to default? Maybe check out the drivers... are you using built-in speakers or something else...? If the games run perfectly otherwise, it sounds like something that could be fixed... but I'm not very good with that stuff.
