FearfulSymmetry: Hm, yes, "fun". :P I know more about post stamps and wrappers than I ever wanted to. But it's for a good cause, I suppose. :)

*big hope you feel even better soon hug*
Well, maybe fun was not the right word to use. :-)

So anything nice planned for the rest of the week and the weekend?

*big thank you hug*

;)

I'm heading back home tomorrow and my sister is coming with me for the weekend. We're planning on doing some sightseeing and shopping. And on Monday my new computer will hopefully arrive, so then I'll probably turn into a gaming recluse. :P How about you?

That sounds nice, I hope you two will have a great time sightseeing and shopping. And of course, I hope your new computer will work out great for you. Just remember to stop and eat and drink while playing, we don't want you passing out like those Korean gamers. :-)

Well my partner is away visiting her sisters until Saturday, then we will just do some last minute things before our trip on Monday.

My mother's already made me promise to text her everyday to prove I'm still alive. ;) And thanks!

Good luck preparing then. I hope you have an absolutely awesome time on the trip. :)

Are there any GOG games you have been holding off getting until you got your new PC?

Thank you. I am sure it will be lovely.

Not really, but there are a few games that I already owned but left for later because I found them to be barely playable on my laptop. When I fired up Kholat, for instance, the frame rate was so low it was pretty much impossible to play. So I'll definitely be playing those games on my new computer.

Kholat was a game that always looked interesting to me, especially the real mystert that the game is based on. It looks visually lovley, so hopefully with your new PC you can enjoy it and let us know what you think of it.

ddickinson: Have a nice time at work. I will see what I can do about making the weekend come sooner. Give me a few days and I think I can get him to you. :-)

31 hours and still only 15% complete? That is impressive. I am not sure if that makes me want to try it, or puts me off due to the time investment.

I have seen the game, but I can't say I know too much about it. I did not know it was like Hotline Miami, but then I have not really played they either.
Thank you! :)
I'll just wait a few days and... hey, wait a minute! :)

Might have a lot to do with playing about 25 hours with hard difficulty - perhaps... I switched to normal somewhere around that point...

It's a bit like watching an epic blockbuster movie - sometimes they can be fun, but only if you know that the next movie might be completely something different - a small indie possibly :) ... that's how I see Dragon Age: Big, and a bit stereotypical, but Epic and sometimes quite funny.

FearfulSymmetry: Maybe it's only counting achievements for the completion rate? Because you're definitely a lot further than 15% in. :P
Hello! :)
Okay, good to know :)
I guess it might be that achievement counter thing then.

Hey, cool! Congrats on your new computer! :)

omega64: I finished the game in about 40 hours. O_o
Gaaah :)
I must really suck at this game ;)

Sorry, a few days was the best I could do. Would you rather I lie and give you false estimates? :-)

A lovely ninja gifted me the game, so I will give it a play sometime. It looks good, although I have not had much experience with RPGs like Dragon Age.
