Afternoons! :)

Here's some new Finnish music :)

I actually enjoyed this :)
I wish GOG would stop using .PKG installers on Mac. Especially when the GOG installer seems to make an effort to hide the files it installs (generally the files that are installed are listed under one of the installer menus), requires administration rights, and at the end you still just get the same Application file we used to get to begin with. It makes me wonder what else they are installing, especially with it needing admin rights. And if they are not installing anything else, then why the administrator rights, and why the installer at all and not just the old .DMG files we used to get that are more common on Macs.
TL:DR version: I've been in my own little world past few days but wanted to send Fred a little love. Okay, lots of love, some coffee, a strawberry smoothie, maybe some of my stash of chocolate... maybe... ;)

Long-winded version:
Hello, lovely folks of Fred! I hope you are all doing well. I've been feeling a bit distant lately, then did something odd to my neck and am having a bit of trouble moving. I'd ignore it as a "kink in my neck" and wait for it to pass, but when it first happened (a loud popping in my neck while coughing) I wasn't able to move anything for a moment, which has my wife *really* freaked out. It passed and now it's just that I'm super stiff and have what feels like some pulled muscles in my back and left shoulder, but I'll be going to the doctor Friday to humor the lady. :)

My apologies for being distant and even less interactive than usual of late, for a while it was due to a pretty heavy depression, but the past few days it's just that I've been distracted by everything and drifting around in space. It didn't occur to me until the lady asked me how long it had been last night, that I haven't taken my medications in a number of days... probably explains the inability to focus, at least. :)

I started writing this before catching up on the thread, as I felt clear-headed enough to make some words. :) Time to catch up the best I can while the beast is napping. Much love to you all, and I wish you all a lovely week!
*big hugs*

I'm on your wife's side :-p That neck thing sounds pretty freaky. I'm glad you are getting it checked out. I hope it's nothing, and just a pulled muscle like you said. *crossing fingers*

No need to apologize for the rest. It's cool of you to check in anyway though. I hope less-than-amazing feelings you've been having will start turning around. You may want to invest in one of these :-) ... and hit my chat anytime you like.
*extra huge hug for the always-lovely Akhliber*

Thanks so much! I hope your medication changes are treating you better these days. If you've detailed as much in the thread, my apologies. Space. That's my new excuse. ;)
I found the picture you linked extra-amusing, as I actually have that exact pill case (well, the lid colors on mine are different, but otherwise identical) as it's the only one I've found that can actually hold all my daily medications. I swear, I should get senior discounts for coffee at Hardee's and other fast food joints at this point. AARP discounts or something. ;)
Thanks so much for the kind words. It's been an odd adjustment period for me as well, though I think only a small part is due to medication change (one of my medication doses was doubled, as the prescribing doc thinks doing so will help me get more sleep and also help me to actually have an appetite on occasion... the result thus far has been a general improvement in depression / anxiety and a serious improvement in the hunger department, and spending *lots* of time lost in thought... contentedly so, but I just kind of disconnect.) I think you know the drill by now. Wait it out and be as productive as possible, haha. :)

Thank you too. I just double my own medication a week ago. The side effects are nasty at first, but slowly improve over time. No positive signs just yet - as you out it, I'm just waiting it out for the moment. :-)

Anyway, good luck with the changes, both the medication and otherwise. Glad to hear some things have been improving. Hopefully that "disconnect" improves a bit too. *more hugs* :-)
Good evening everyone *big hugs and waves* :)

Hope you're all doing at least ok :)

Took a pill for my nausea this morning - slept for an hour... then two more hours... and two additional hours... and am ready to sleep again ^^
Otherwise I'm doing alright :-)

How about yourself? Been playing anything good lately? Are you still in Mad Max?

I might share some more if I find anything remotely okayish :P

Ah, good evening! :)
No worries, I miss lots of more things, and seem to be getting away with it ;)

Cleared about 20GB worth of vudu-originated tv-series from the HD, now enough room for more games :)

Sorry to hear about the nausea but at least you're doing alright - hope you'll get to good soon though :)

I'm doing good :)
No Mad Max is done - onyl thing I've done Mad Max-related was rewatching Mad Max 1 and 2 :)
Well i've finished Batman Arkham Asylum for the third time since then and i'm currently playing mostly Arkham City for the third time and occasionally Starbound but haven't really played much as is was too hot in my room to play anything demaning on my PC...

Bah, I'm feeling better now. Thanks :-)

I still haven't tried Stardbound since it was released the other day. I guess I should add it to my playlist.
I finished Tengami and Year Walk the other day. Both short, but very sweet little adventure games. Now I'm getting into Don't Starve, which is quite fun so far :-)

Yep, black magic surely! :)
vudu.com - They hook you up with freebies and then you go back for more... end up owning all kinds of stuff.
Sounds a bit like this other place I visit regularly...

You're welcome :)

Well maybe not the worst idea - it was just updated here (and of course i didn't get a notification for it) :)
Sounds neat. I've looked at Tengami - a beautiful looking game :D
Ah Don't Starve - still have to give that a proper try - only played a bit so far and died pretty soon xD
