Yeah, at this point 8GB is a bit small, specially if you add the fact that the Samsung page already warns you that 4.3 gigs are used by the system already.
Howewer I was using a huawei piece of crap with 2 gig's of internal which used 1.2 for itself, which went up to 1.5 after a few updates. It'll feel positively spacious.
I'm actually more worried about the RAM. 1,5 feels a bit tight specially if you consider near-future apps.
Of course it's 3 times more than what I had.

If you know any similar phones in the same price range with larger internal storage, let me know.

Yes. The RAM might be an issue as well. What would the J3 cost for you? It's around 155€ here..

Because i know that you can get the 16GB-internal storage Huawei Honor 5C or the Moto G for around 200€. Might be even less for the Moto G. And the Motorola one comes without much (or any) bloatware and usually offers close to stock Android.

Was that particular Huawei crap or don't you like the company in general? I'm just curious because i had a Huawei Ascend P6 and i was pretty happy with it.

Pretty much the same price, it's being sold for 159.
It was a Huawei Ascend G510. It started okay, but lately, it took forever just to load a note editor.
Also Sonic 4 refused to even load up.
I didn't even know about the Moto G. I'll take a look at that one.

Well not surprised about that considering the small ram and rom you mentioned (had that with my first smartphone too which was a Sony Xperia Pro)

Thank you. I am sure it will be fine, it was more with how it happened over that it happened that was annoying. It is not the end of the world, but knowing how vindictive and what liars they were is not nice.

I took a look at the Moto G³. I can get the 16G in white (black is out of stock) for 177 or the 8G one for 144. That one only has 1G of RAM though, which is a big NO.

The Ascend p6 jumps all the way up to the 200 bucks. So it falls out of the race.
Now it's just a matter of choosing the right one.

But the 16GB one should have 2GB RAM right? Because that's the information i have about it...which would be reasonable...

Not to mention that the P6 is really outdated now. Or did you mean the Honor 5?

More than enough.
In fact. I've been thinking about it, and 1.5 is more than enough for most current apps. Only the most memory intensive ones would need more. 2GB would be useful to give them room to grow into with future updates that invariably will gobble up memory like Pac-Man would white dots.
However considering that my current phone has barely lasted a bit over 2 years. by that time or even sooner I might need to replace it due to FUBAR. Which would make the whole thing moot.
Anyways, it's a very good alternative to the Samsung J3. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

That's one big thing. Usually the phones don't last that long - my Ascend P6 made it for roughly two years and i doubt that my current S5 Mini will make it much longer...

You're welcome - both phones sound like really good choice if you don't need the (imho often unnecessary) high-end phones or something like the Fairphone.
