'Tis done.

I am now the owner of a 3rd gen 16GB Moto G. And experiencing that dreadful feeling that comes with every expensive purchase, buyer's remorse.

The reason for that is because only after I bought it. I realized that it's a phone already at the end of it's life cycle, having been superseded by the G4.

Also, it's white.

Meanwhile the Samsung J3, is still in the middle (more or less) of it's life cycle and doesn't seem like it will be left unsupported in the immediate future.

Also I can get it in black.

Any advice you can give will be appreciated. It's still unopened in its box, so that I can still exchange it if I so wish (bloody media markt).

In other news, I got an OTG usb cable hoping I could access my old broken phone with a mouse.
It didn't work.
I'M IN DESPAIR! The lack of OTG support has left me in despair!

Only The Guess seems to work about half the time on a good day.

On the idea. The game itself, I don't have a machine anywhere near powerful enough.

I have everything except the CPU, may have to check a little closer and see how optimistic those specs really are.

I've gotta admit...I'm not too high on Fallout 2's tribal motif. I'm in the very early game (just reached the first town) but I'm just not buying that the Vault Dweller founded something like that, considering how...stable(?) everything was becoming in Fallout 1. It just makes zero sense for them to go and found a primitive tribe. I know I know, it's a game with super mutants, ghouls and a post apocalyptic world...but still.

If you have the GPU, you can pretty much get away with lower CPU (within reason).

In other news, after almost 3 days in rice, the phone has apparently dried up enough for the touchscreen to work again.
Maybe I should have used more rice.
I'm not, however, experiencing any remorse about getting the new one. It needed to be done.
And the more I learned about the moto G the better phone it seemed over the Samsung. I mean, the moto g is even IPX7 certified! That means it's waterproof.
