I am doing okay, better than I was this last week. My partner got sacked due to the new Spanish owners of the stables being homophobic jerks and because she told their son to keep his hands to himself. There was no justification for her being sacked, it was solely for their own petty reasons (they did not like who he is in a relationship with, or that she told their son where to stick his unwanted advances). Sadly there is nothing we can do, it is their word against hers, and the reasons they gave were pure lies, but nothing that can be disproven, so again it would be their word against ours. Which sucks as it was not justified at all and just lies to cover their own hateful attitudes. I will stop before I ramble on too much. But needless to say that was not a nice way to end the week, especially given the reasons it happened. The lies and their bigoted reasons behind it hurts more than the actual job loss. I just don't get why some people have to be such jerks. *sighs*

But anyway, enough of me rambling and complaining. Do you have anything nice planned for the day?

Black Bass were introduced about 50 years ago, purely for recreative fishing. On rivers that had practically no predators save an endemic barbel.
You can imagine how well that worked.
For the black, magnificiently, for every other fish, not so well. It's adapted perfectly to the rivers here and went on to devour everything else it could snack on. Which is a lot. So it's catalogued as a harmful invasive species.
Carp's also a trash fish, and thought of as invasive as well. But it's been here for centuries so...
As for the bullhead, Catfish are still quite rare over here, and they want them to stay that way. To the point that whenever anyone hooks one, they're required to kill it.

I can, not as well as my partner can, but that is due to her growing up doing those things. She did not do it too often, but her family used to visit the cost quite often so she had a lot of opportunities for surfing and diving with her family.

Of course they can, they just need the right equipment (diving can be lovely, and it is never too late to learn to swim and dive, so don't give up just yet):
