I hope Mr Sun likes it here. But it was only a matter of time until he arrives.^^ He always visits us for Feencon weekend. Traditionally one of the hottest weekends of the year, even though it's on a different weekend every year.^^ (And sorry for the German link, but an English one does not exist.)

Sorry to hear that. I only had a few hours sleep myself, but that seems to be normal lately. My day is off to an okay start, already have most of my jobs done for the day. Do you think you will be able to get some sleep soon?

Only grasshoppers and other harmless-looking insects, which tasted quite good. They had been fried, I think. And there was some seasoning on them. Quite a nice snack. I had a hard time agreeing to eat the heads of some of the bigger insects. But I was encouraged to do so, and the taste was far from terrible :)

Maybe next time, I'll try the spiders :)

Also spent a few hours sipping coffee and checking out Black Mirror. It's quite awesome!

That made me lose my appetite for breakfast. :P

Usually was too busy when eating the non-insect food... Talking, drinking, eating... "Eating alone quietly" is not common in South-East Asia, I guess, especially if you mingle with the locals ;)

Wimp, you should have tried them. That way you could have told us how they taste. :-)

I guess they must taste nice, otherwise why would the locals eat them. I can't see them as something I would want to eat, but to each their own, and I am sure they are good in their own way.

I have not played Black Mirror yet, it is part of my ever present backlog. It does look like a nice game, and I look forward to playing it someday.

I would fit right in other than the insects. :P I'm always talking, etc. :P
