The monster is returning your hug in spirit, but he's too busy snoring in the physical world. ;)
Hahah he is a damn cute puppy. :P
Darn, Dragon Age Origins is here? That's one of my all-time favourites. I'd grab it if I didn't already own it on Steam and Origin. :P Definitely recommend it for anyone who doesn't have it yet, though.

ddickinson: The only game showing regional pricing for me is Sim City 3,000 (£0.20 back). It sure seems strange that only that one is regionally priced, given the 50% mark up on Dead Space.
For me all of them are regionally priced...

Thank you for the lovely reply. I first saw the game on Humble some time ago, and there was just something about it that jumped out at me. I added it to GOG when it arrived, but I keep going through phases of removing games from my wishlist and I was trying to decide if I should leave Dex on the list. After reading your review I think I will leave it on there, but only get when it is on a nice discount perhaps.

*big thank you*

That is strange. I wonder if mine are and GOG is just not telling, or if it is a EU currency thing only? I attached a screenshot showing what I see, and only one mentions regional pricing.

According to that, all three games are regionally priced for you too but for both DA:O and Dead Space you have to pay less than the US price - which is why it doesn't show up whereas most other regions have to pay more - including the Eurozone. That said the Swiss have that worst regional pricing for the games....poor Moon :/

For a comparison i attached the prices i am seeing.

That is really weird. But the price is still £5 more on GOG than on Steam for me on Dead Space. I wonder if this is a new pattern we will see, all these confusing pricing on games.

It is - and i thought Activision would be greedy with its ridiculous prices for Vampire and Gun but EA aims to be even worse by ripping off the Europeans (geographically speaking) with the DA:O and Dead Space prices...i mean i'm happy to see them here but that is just ridiculous...

This seems like a common pattern for EA though. I've checked some more EA games on steamprices.com and games like Crysis or Mass Effect are more expensive in the US than in Europe on Steam - comparable to the Dead Space situation...
