AgentBirdnest: Yeah. The third season of The Simpsons >:-(
Also... I have absolutely no idea what Lent is. I grew up Mormon, and I never learned about other religions. We only had 2 important days (that I remember, anyway) - Easter Sunday and Christmas Day.
From Wikipedia:
Lent is a solemn religious observance in the liturgical calendar of many Christian denominations that begins on Ash Wednesday and covers a period of approximately six weeks before Easter Sunday. The traditional purpose of Lent is the preparation of the believer through prayer, penance, repentance of sins, almsgiving, atonement and self-denial. This event, along with its pious customs are observed by Christians in the Anglican, Calvinist, Lutheran, Methodist, and Roman Catholic traditions. Today, some Anabaptist and evangelical churches also observe the Lenten season.
As for Christmas, did you know that Santa originally wore green? It was only becasue of the Americans and Coca Cola that he is dressed in red and black (the colours of Coca Cola), part of a promotion done by Coca Cola a long time ago.
Stilton: That more like it....
Good, becasue that's all the details you are getting. :-)
