zeogold: Already played all the recommendations so far, huh? Well, at least I've been in the ballpark so far.
The Penumbra series, maybe?
The Black Mirror series?
Phantasmagoria?
Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals isn't quite "horror", but is fairly dingy-looking and a solid adventure game.
Fantasysci5: You are very good at being in the ballpark and recommending! Ah, now I tried the first penumbra and the action/stealth part of it was a bit too hard for me. I think I kept dying by that dog. Black Mirror is very dear to me. Phantasmagoria is not one I've played, is it really good? Same with Nikopol. Think they are up my alley?
I also really love the supernatural, besides just horror, so I love ghosts and stuff, like the Gabriel Knight games, The Blackwell games, etc.
Also, thanks for helping me think of games, Zeo! I appreciate it. :)
I haven't personally played Phantasmagoria, but I HAVE played Nikopol. It's based off of a trilogy of French books. The gameplay is your basic adventure-type game, frequently running off clever (at least, in my opinion) timed sequences. Not too hard, but does require a bit of planning.
Supernatural? I'll think about that.
Sure, no problem. I love recommending stuff. In fact, I'm still trying to think of a way to start a YouTube review channel this season. Just gotta actually get to writing stuff and get my mic to work.
