Well, Strange Space says it is -£2.01 (-226%) on the listings view. But I don't think there is a purchase button on the page for the game. But I am not too sure, I don't really use Steam, I was just curious to see the kind of sale they had on. Does Steam have lots of bugs? I guess GOG is not too bad then if Steam has bugs as well, given that Steam has a lot more money. :-)

Granted I have not looked too closely, but I tend to prefer the GOG sales format over Steam's, it seems easier to find the games on GOG. But I guess that is due to the sheer number of games Steam has compared to GOG. Although, from what I have seen many of these Steam games are terrible.

But yes - nearly every sale on Steam is prone to glitches... Steam might not be as broken as GOG but it has its fair share of bugs and glitches...

Now picture a bunch of rednecks drinking stuff brewed in a backyard and getting both horribly wasted and sick over it, but they never stop drinking, because it's their own special self-made brew.

That's my mental picture on the whole situation.

Hmm. Looks like I can wipe out 3/4ths of my Steam list in one shot if I really want to.
Not bad, figured it'd be less.
They're both pretty much the same thing. Apply filters to try to narrow the field down, but you'll still have to go through page by page by page if you want to check the entire sale list.

It would be a silly marketing plot of them though, or do they think the games are so terrible no one would be silly enough to even want them in their collection, even if they are paid to do so. :-)

Did the Steam sales used to be better? I seem to remember seeing one a while ago and it seemed more... interesting I guess, with bundles and flash deals and things.

I think you would be right. I guess it would be hard for a developer to sell well if their game was not well known to begin with.

Yes, the Steam sales did have flash items, things like that. They stopped doing those a while back.
