ZenWan: Hi Crow, always a pleasure to see you also.
And thank you for always being so friendly when I stop by. It means a lot to me. <smiling>
Silly lady, you've never given me a single reason to be anything but. =)

ZenWan: Hi to anyone who is reading this. Hope your day / night is happy.
Hi Zen! Happy day/night. :)
Games are odd sometimes. Beat two games in two days, vastly different, and yet they both have one big similarity.

I just did that with Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare - both good in their own right, but AN was much easier imo.

The games I beat aren't in the same series. Thought it was funny to see the same thing being used for both titles, despite them having nothing to do with each other.
Does anyone else ever get annoyed, frustrated, or pissed because you can't figure out - to save your mother's life - why so many people seem to like a game?

Also, good morning everyone :-) *tips helmet*

Yes, Bioshock Infinite for example. Though that problem fixed itself a while after release. ;P
What game were you thinking of?

Morning Agent.
Happy Tuesday ye all finefreds!

Copying music for my VITA system.
Staring at our bags and hoping the stuff would just move on its own accord nice-and-tidy inside :)
Might end up skipping more bars before the trip. I feel too old for that :)

*black coffee for those getting up, double dose for anyone over 30* :)

You store music on your Vita?
I can barely fit the games I want to play on the system with those sd cards.

Good morning.

Only on occasion...but I can think of a few games ;)

On the other hand, I recently got to play around with Watch Dogs (the Xbox 360 version) and I can't say that I get the "hate" that it receives. It looks good, has some interesting mechanics and for lack of a better descriptor...it looked fully functional, a completely competent "GTA clone" with a few interesting twists. Yet, based on reviews you'd swear it was the second coming of Crime Life 2*, including in the graphics department.

I keep having to push thoughts like that off my mind quite a bit :)
Dark Souls... I kind of get it. But then if it's so great, why has the game been in my steam library for 2 years and I've only ever got to the first boss.
And facebook games... Seems everybody is playing those these days. I can't get into them. And they are free...

But what's even more frustrating is why people aren't nuts about the same stuff I go completely bananas over? :D

Annoyed? Yeah, I guess. Pissed off? Not really.

I hated Tomb Raider (2013), Dead Island and one or two other games I can't think of, but I usually just shrug it off and pay attention to what I like.

Also, good morning.

Good Morning. Yeah, I enjoy bringing the machine along for travels. Great in airplanes, in gueshouses - you can buy cheap portable speakers and turn on your favourite tracks thousands of miles from home, on a beach, with a cold beer :P
And it's quite small even with a carrying bag so it's easy to bring anywhere.
I agree the cards are small. And expensive. But I usually end up deleting some of the bigger games - you can re-download them later, and I don't mind that.

Oh yeah, of course you could do the same with a smaller machine like a phone. But I am yet to buy my first smart phone ;)

I think most of the hate comes from the fact that the E3 trailer looked significantly better than the finished product. Lots of people were literally expecting it to be the greatest video game ever made. So... a lot of people ended up severely disappointed. As I understand, the launch was also pretty messy, with tons of performance issues. As for the gameplay itself, I can't speak to that, as I've never played it :-) Would like to someday.

Hard games always puzzle me, but I get that plenty of people are into that. Not my thing, but everyone has their own thing.

And I feel the same way about plenty of games that I like :-) I wouldn't use the word bananas though - I'd go with a superior fruit. I go pears over certain games ;-)

Pleased to meet you, fellow Dead Island hater :-) I regret that I played the entire game (about 30 hours for me) in the hopes that it would get better, or more interesting. I said I'd never make the same mistake again, but here I am with Knock-Knock...

Finish the story, the game is pretty bland. The story is why I despise it. xD
Just hate the main character so much. :l

Don't if you play games for the story. :P
The game is still pretty messy, performance I can't comment on as I have a GTX 980.
Had a few graphical glitches like the entire sky flickering at night sometimes. (assume it was meant to be lightning but it was just flickering)
The menu's don't account for you using a mouse.
The smartphone menu doesn't actually show a cursor. You move the selected square by moving the mouse as if you're using an analog stick.
