ddickinson: I am doing good, thank you.
You have to look up to see the sun, you know? :-)
So there is no sunshine for you in the land of the Dutch? That is a shame. Today for me is nice and sunny with a little breeze, not as much as I would like, but at least it is not too hot.
Are you all done with the sale now, bought everything you wanted?
Considering my wishlist I doubt I'll ever purchase everything I wanted. :P You have to look up to see the sun, you know? :-)

Bought quite a few things though, currently satisfied.
Also got some gifts for certain people as you might've noticed. ;)

Good morning Fred (and all the little fredlets/fredettes)
No sun here either. We've been having rain everyday once, twice, thrice for the past few weeks. While it is unfortunate that I cannot go bicycling, I'm rather pleased it isn't too hot and sunny. I hate the heat. And you can't go bicycling out in the heat either. So I'm okay with dirt weather :p
I spent most of yesterday drawing a few supercapital spaceships and playing supreme commander and Total Annihilation. I can recommend the Frenzy or Total Mayhem mods for the latter by the way. Adds a whole lot of nice stuff (hooray) without *completely* breaking the game and its balance.
How are you doing this morning?

ElTerprise: Good morning *big return hug*
Sunny day? That would be great :)
Doing fine here - what about you?
So not sun for the Hun either? :-) Sunny day? That would be great :)
Doing fine here - what about you?
(Hmmm, is that offence now these days? Hopefully not, well, I guess some would find it offensive, but then some find everything offence. But, if Hun is now an offensive term in Germany, I apologise. But it did rhyme with sun. :-))
I am glad you are doing fine today. But just fine? Anything we can do to make it good perhaps?
I am good, thank you. Just enjoying some lovely time in the garden and chatting on here while passing some time.

I did notice a few requests to murder you with +1s, it seems you have been a busy gifter. :-)

omega64: You'd be surprised how few of them usually show up with the way GOG tends to repeat weekly sales and staff picks.
Maybe, but looking at your list there are many on sale, so that means you get to get all exited over the next seasonal sale. :-) Or, give me a minute and I can finally check if I have any more old keys that are on your list and I can gift you another game and help reduce that list at least a little. :-)

*Starts a pagan rain prayer directed at your homestead* It's a lucky thing We don't live in a flooding area at my place. It's currently rampant in some parts of the country. We should call the dutch over sometime.
Biggest problem is that a lot of permits for selling that threatened land as building plots were somehow acquired and sold on to common folk who now drudge through the water whenever the clouds have a good rain.
But I'm happy that England has a bit of sun for a change. The English climate being what it is :p

I think no one here actually cares about the Hun insult and most people probably don't know about its origin anyway :) (Hmmm, is that offence now these days? That is very unfortunate about the flooding. We get our fair share of that in England from time to time, as I am sure many costal nations do, just look at that the recent floods in France.
Well I don't mind any kind of weather, which is probably good as English weather is never a set thing, we could have sun one minute and heavy rain the next. Especially when Belgian heretics are dancing their silly pagan rain dances. :-)
omega64: I spent way more than I should've. >_<
Though that usually happens to me during big sales here.
Naughty Mr Octopus. I hope you did not spend too much that it will cause you some problems. You should try to calm down with sales, it is not like the games are going anywhere. :-) Though that usually happens to me during big sales here.

Fair enough, it is most likely the PC patrol over here. It is often those not even connected that are the ones to get offended. Yep just fine for the moment, annoyed about GOG at the moment and the weather..maybe it'll get to good later :)

What has GOG done this time to annoy you? As for the weather, well, you could always travel to the old gods and ask them to change it for you, but they often don't listen. :-)
Thank you. Since I don't need to be outdoors today, I would gladly share some of this sun with you all if I could. But the sun tends to do what he wants. You know how boys get, they never want to listen to anyone. :-)

I'm doing well enough. I'm a bit stressedly anticipating the results of the exams (due the 29th), And there are a few other matters that are lying heavily on my liver, so to say.
But in general I'm coming by well enough. How's Germany? ;)
Also, the drawings are too big for the scanners. And being a fossil in my own way, I wouldn't know how to transfer photos from the mobile phone to the pc. Hell, finding out how to make the photos was a challenge already :D
I feel oddly antiquated...

That is sad, I can see why you are annoyed. And of course, if you ever wanted one of those banned games, just let me know and I will get you a gift copy. But ultimately, is your government not responsible for this? It must be a little worrying, given that Germany bans games, movies, even books. And banning books is getting kind of close to burning them. And given that part of Germany's past, that is not a good thing. I wonder why they are the only western nation to have such lists that are in a way a breach of democracy, it is a kind of dictatorship that tells you what you can and can no consume as entertainment and of which knowledge you may and may not see/read.Well mostly that. Well i'm not a huge friend of great heat either and i'm totally used to rain (for obvious reasons ^^) but i'd appreciate a bit of sun at the moment - it's raining since i came back from Berlin from Berlin yesterday... Best of luck with the results and the other stuff that is bothering you. But i'm glad that you're doing well enough :)
Well how's Germany? Hm...not too good imho...would love to see our Government replaced but other than it's okay...
Oh well too bad :)

Yep. I'm thankfully only missing one game from the list and that's one i'm not sure about it being interestingly enough for me anyway. It's not a Government issue - though a federal institution is responsible. But aside from possibly de-listing GOG.com from Google they cannot do anything as GOG is located in Poland. Also afaik none of these are actually "banned", they're merely blacklisted which means it is necessary to make it impossible for minors to buy them. It's actually a fraction of blacklisted media which is actually banned - i mean not even "Mein Kampf" is actually - it just wasn't for sale until this year. I don't even know of any banned book but even if there would be a banned it would probably for legal reasons - like infringement of personal rights etc... Same with other media too (but usually due to glorification of violence or inhuman depictions which are punishable offences in Germany)
