I have not played Commandos 3 really, I played a little but really did not like it. I wanted it to be another Commandos 2, not the dumbed down stuff that 3 was.

I am doing okay. I am on my own for a few days as my partner is away, and I was hoping to spend a few hours on the phone with here while she is on her train journey, but sadly the signal is not that good on the train, so I can't. So I figured I would try to play a game or two and do some other things while passing the time on here.

I haven't played Defender's Quest :-p Have you? (If so, did you like it?)

I have, I did, and I am replaying it now that the free HD upgrade is here. :-)
It is a tower defence game, but a very nice one with a good story, and it has many difficulty levels so it is not overly hard. It also has game+ and things for replayability. The screenshots on the gamecard are the old visuals, the new update is quite a lot better.

It is okay, I was just hoping to get a few hours chatting as I have not seen her since this morning when she left. But no worries, we will try again tomorrow or later this evening depending on when she gets to her hotel. I had to promise to be on my best behaviour, otherwise she was gong to call in sick and miss her event, but I know she was looking forward to going so I will behave. :-)

For now I am just playing a some casual games (at the moment a little bit of Defenders Quest). I am still not that good in front of a screen, but I am getting better, so I am just making the most of it before my head gets too bad, that is why I am sticking to smaller games. I might try some FTL as well, and I just remembered there is a screenshot I said I would get for you.

I just bought Defender's Quest, seeing as I'd planned to do so the moment the HD version got released.

It is a nice game. I am not always the biggest fan of tower defence games, they often have little story, or get hard very quickly. This one has a nice story, RPG type elements to it, shops, and difficulty levels for each battle to make it not so difficult based on your skills. And the new graphics really do make an improvement over the older ones. Not that they were terrible, but the difference is very noticeable (you can toggle the between the old and new if you wanted to see for yourself).

Oh I know, I've been following this one since I played the flash demo a long time ago.

Huh... sounds like an interesting game :-) I've always had mixed feelings about Tower Defense games. I tend to get bored fairly quickly, but also get addicted... so I just can't stop playing them, even when I am bored :-p

I'll keep my *fingers crossed* that you'll be able to talk soon then. And I'll be making sure you don't get into any GOGtrouble here either ):-| [/big meanie]

Oh yeah, the screenshot. I'm interested of course, but don't worry about it if you aren't up to it, or have better things to do. I am a patient Agent :-) I hope you can play some stuff without getting too bad of a headache, in any case!

Anybody seen DDickinson? I went out to get a drink, and when I came back, Puzzle-Bot was wheeling around with some kind of one-handed chain slashy thing. I put him in guard mode, and I suspect she has something to do with this.
