akhliber: A particularly sneaky owl snuck me with The Park recently, and I think I'll be giving that one a shot in the next couple days. I think that one's really short too, and I've been on the lookout for short games (when I have little time for gaming, playing short games and actually finishing a game now and then feels much more productive than just putting twenty minutes into my 160-hour tour of Skyrim or some such. I'm actually almost missing Skyrim now that it's been mentioned a few times... maybe I *will* wind up playing that again when the upgrade is released. :)
Only 160 hours? n__o I never got into Skyrim too much, but had a few runs of New Vegas that lasted that long. (I'm more of a sci-fi geek than a fantasy geek.)
For short games, I always take a look at Mr Sinistar's list of
One Day Games. There are some lovely choices :-)
Ixamyakxim: Ah gotcha. The last few years I've taken to "Halloween Gaming" - I'll play a scary game, lights out volume up around late-October. Amnesia was by far the best of the lot.
For Halloween, I'll play Costume Quest. That's about as scary as I'm willing to play ;-p
On the other hand, I do like FEAR... but I get guns in FEAR :-D
