Vnlr: Why would professional assassins dress up as prostitutes to sneak into a parties's ship trying to kill all persons of note onboard?

omega64: Second question:
Why would female assassins dress up as sexy nuns and sneak into [insert place] to kill another assassin?

As for the second question,

They snuck in, let some more people in, and then turned on the party together. They wanted to be able to get something on the party ship instead of blowing it up (which could compromise the aquiring of ... and upset an otherwise quiet escape route - they didn't count on the party familiar warnign the rest).

That kindo sorts that out roughly.

I'm thinking they were after the blood or tissue of a few of the more exotic party members... . Or possibly they were misinformed by a double agent who is actually working for ... while feeding them false info?

as in, that agent was steering the assassins away from something else that those were after, and the party got the short straw in the deception war?

Meanwhile, what they are actually after is gone from the port, and the agent, seeing the parties's potential looks for their safeguard against his earlier "allies"?

So what will you all be playing over the weekend? I know GOG sometimes does a separate thread for this, but I was just curious what the regulars of Fred would be playing, if anything, over the weekend?

Me and my partner are hoping to play a little Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, which looks like a lovely little game.

Sharing the controller or with one of you watching?

Might try to force Zeo into some more Van Helsing.
Gonna try some of the games I bought so far, maybe Hotline Miami 2.

I might lock myself up in the attic for an afternoon and solo a few boardgame favourites ... :)

as for computer games, I nearly finished a sword of the stars game a while back but had to let it rest and lost track. As such I might start a new small game of Sword of the Stars (never gets old), or maybe Star ruler 1/2. ;)

We figured cuddled up sharing the controller, but failing that maybe take it in turns.

Do you mean multiplayer with Zeo? How is Van Helsing?
I have played some of Hotline Miami 1, but not the second game. It is a nice little game, and I know many liked the second one as well.

What you mean is keep a few of those hooker ninjas for yourself and lock yourself in the attic with them. :-)

Not games that I have played, but I hope you have a nice weekend with them. If you get around to it what with those hooker ninjas keeping you occupied. :-)

Well, I hope you enjoy it.
Brothers is quite the game.

Yup, Multiplayer with Zeo, Van Helsing is pretty fun.
Playing Final Cut which combines all 3 games.
Pretty sure we're almost at the end of the first after 10+ hours.

I love HLM1.
Can't say I like the second all that much due to the level design forcing a different gameplay style.
Still gonna play it anyway just for the art/music. :D

I have heard lots of good things about the game. I like the look of some of the settings, that is what drew me to the game. And the story is apparently very good, so I look forward to seeing what all the praise is about.

That is good then. I am not really a big online multiplayer gamer, but it is nice seeing how many people on here enjoy playing games together online.

I did hear people say that about the second game, and how some enemies attack you offscreen. But overall I seem to remember people liking it despite its faults.

Co-op is mostly the only way I play online games. :P
Already completed Trine 1 and 2 with Zeo and Sanfueg.

Haha :p

I'm not overly obsessed with sexual affairs to be honest, it's just that I have to keep a crowd of other young adult males amused at these D&D evenings. It 's mostly mild mocking and entertainment and having them whipped publicly in town squares if they don't treat ladies with the respect due to them, but it's part of the DMing job ;)

I'm more occupied with tying the hookers into the story than with the hookers themselves :p

And I don't have or never had a girlfriend, I have other affairs to keep me busy currently ;)

Ah, a lovely game. I have finished the first game, but not yet started the second game. It was really nice, I guess that is why so many people were let down with the third game.

So you are in it for the bloodlust then? :-)

Hopefully you can find a nice way to tie them into your story, and that it will go well. I can't really say more as I have never played D&D, so I have only a very brief knowledge of it all.
Goodbye for now though,

I'll be of to studying for monday!

Maniac Mansion/Day of the Tentacle (thanks to Owl), This War of Mine (thanks to Crow), and Dust (thanks to yourself :-))

Brothers looks like a nice game. I'm a bit surprised by the developer, who made Riddick, The Darkness, PAYDAY... Brothers looks like an interesting departure from their usual stuff :-)
