j0ekerr: So not much of a loss there.
(Now try to imagine what I think of microtransaction-locked content)
Hurm, ok, I'm looking at the D&D EE bundle and... it kinda proves my point?
The 10 percent off on Siege of Dragonspear if you get everything and the zero percent if you don't, is linked to the Far Cry discounts?

Oh... well I couldn't (and still can't) see it, since I have the other 3 which automatically gives me the 10% discount.
Let me log out to check it.

Ok, now I've noticed it. You have to at least get one of the other games to have any discount at all on Dragonspear.

You might have another stroke resulting in your typing going even MORE wonky ;) I tease, I tease... but only somewhat ;)

There's a coffee place near me and I will once in a while have a second iced coffee very early in the day. Think around 1 - 2 PM. If it's my second coffee and I've eaten a light lunch (think warm weekend fare) and I get a coffee here I can actively feel my heart fluttering and my vision start to go a bit... strange LOL.

I do like their coffee when I want something a bit stronger and more bitter / acrid - but I don't often get it because man is that an odd feeling LOL.

Yep. Bit of a funny discount scheme right there, especially for a bundle. Those are usually some of the biggest discounts, not a comparatively tiny one.

Eh, it's still a pretty new game, the tiny discount is consistent with the practice of assigning small cuts to recently released recreationals.
That's why I'm gonna wait for the DOTT remaster.
I also notice that Grim Fandango has no discount either.

I'll be very surprised if Grim Fandango doesn't show up at some point.

Hi, just one very important one.

Stay away from Mr e (tinyE), he's a homoerectus.
Hey folks! I hope you're all enjoying your day.

I got some records in the post I've been waiting a good month on, so we've got the stereo cranked today. Sarge got a new toy today as well, so we're both feeling a bit like it's Christmas. :)

*big hugs all around*

I'm sorry you had to learn the hard way, he preys on the vulnerable, he's a homoerectus.

And if he sends you a chat request for sexytime videos, just block him, he's perverted.
I could use suggestions on some *really good* non-fiction books.
Stuff that has some science behind them.. no diet or cook books. But it can be soft sciences as well as hard. Preferably non-math as my math honestly sucks (though I'm willing to try statistics books).
Examples are: "Death By Blackhole", "Unspeakable Acts, Ordinary People" or "Quiet: The Power of Introverts".

The Science of Discworld series? ... Features the Discworld series fiction writer Terry Pratchett, with Ian Stewart and Jack Cohen... Have read the first two books - enjoyable and educational in my opinion... But there is some fiction in them. But not too hard to comprehend non-fiction.

"Ian Nicholas Stewart FRS (born 24 September 1945) is an Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at the University of Warwick, England, and a widely known popular-science and science-fiction writer."

"Jack Cohen, FIBiol (born 19 September 1933 in Norwich[1]) is a British reproductive biologist also known for his popular science books and involvement with science fiction."
