AgentBirdnest: \o/ *opens champagne* Awesome! Hopefully the meeting goes well tomorrow :-)
Wow, that's a big bottle. :P I'm so happy about having finished it! And indeed, hopefully my supervisor will be happy as well. :P The official hand-in date is on the 26th, so all of this is almost over ...

omega64: You did it!
*Throws confetti*
Thanks! :D

superstande: Thank you :)
I tried to do a bit of cheesing but wasn't too good at it.
In the end I won fairly, though it was mostly a trial-and-error couple of hours to see what works best.
But damn did it feel good to watch them bad boys go down ;)
You took the noble path. When I played, I found one hell of an exploit, one that I was surprised was permitted.
The last boss died from being buried by skeletons. -laughs-

ElTerprise: Hey Crow :)
Sounds good - not the countless attempts though ;)
Yes...exactly :P
Well some places in Eastern Germany are quite dry...for example Brandenburg ;)
(Ye olde Margraviate of Brandenburg was known as the sandbox of the Holy Roman Empire ^^)
That's the name of the game. Practice until you're ready to scream, get lucky, win, repeat the process with a new, harder level.

I did not know that. At least now, if you ever freak out and say you're going to live in the desert as a hermit, I'll know where to find you. ;P

FearfulSymmetry: Whooooo, my master's dissertation is done! Well, okay, I have one more meeting with my supervisor tomorrow, so some tiny things might still change, but other than that ... At last! :P
Way to go, Fearful lady. =) That alone is a huge accomplishment, let alone doing it with everything else you've had going on.

It's definitely a weight off my back. Now there's just my lesson visit to go and then things should be much more quiet once it's June. :)

Sounds great. After it's all done, you'll have more free time to make field trips to kick your landlord in the groin until you can get the hell out of there. ;)

Well at least the game is good at conditioning people then ;)

Well they made the land arable since then but there are some models that it might get hotter and dryer there within 100 years due to the climate change and trust me - i wouldn't go in a desert to become a hermit :P
Congrats Fearful, hello everyone.

Doin' OK, getting a bit warmer than I like it but not too bad.
How's your weekend, anything exciting other than 5000 runs at the current game? ;)

Cold drinks. Lots and lots of cold drinks. =)

Doing all right here. Trying to get voice chat going with Agent and EIT for a game of Borderlands 1.

Yep, Diet Pepsi's sitting right here.
Sounds fun, I've yet to try out any of the Borderlands titles, I know I own some. :-)

Good call. Sitting here with my diet Dr. Pepper.

The first one is enjoyable. The second one's much better. Haven't played the Pre-Sequel yet.

Looks like I'm renting the second one and 'tales from', need to free up some drive space one of these days and try them out.

The second one is good, but it's also chock frigging full of DLC. Just insane amounts of it. Something I intensely hate about Gearbox.

Tales from the Borderlands isn't bad from what I've played, but I got distracted and haven't gone back to it.

Tales from the Borderlands is Telltales best. (At least of their games since The Walking Dead)
Hey there, Fred! I hope you are all well. Had a lovely night out at a AAA baseball game (I got that right, didn't I?) but ended a lovely night on a seemingly obligatory clumsy note and closed the car door on my hand. Pretty certain nothing's broken, as i do have some movement in all of my fingers, but it's just really weird, as my middle finger is not only swollen, but visibly bruised, and I normally just don't bruise, at least not visibly, even when I break bones. Certainly a case of "looks a lot worse than it is" but this is my first attempt at typing and it's quite a slow affair, requiring lots of backspacing. I have a feeling I won't be doing much--if any--gaming before my procedure Wednesday. Good news is I'll doubtless come out of my nap feeling invincible and will likely not only game, but clean the house, tinker with some gadgets and gog-knows-what-else when I come home from that. :)

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend!
