EndreWhiteMane: <stumbles in> What the hell is this rock doing here?!?
Howdy all, getting ready to do errands and thought I'd give a quick hello.
*hugs, waves, fixes window*
akhliber: Hey there. Fortunately, it wasn't a dog this time. But it appears you're still tasked with the clean-up. ;) Howdy all, getting ready to do errands and thought I'd give a quick hello.

I was stuck in lurker mode when I read about that, but hats off to you for taking care of things the way you did. The owner must have been an absolute wreck.
Dogs OK and should be home today or tomorrow. Cut the artery and some tendons so it's going to be a rather long recovery. He'll be on downers for a week or so to keep him calm.
Definitely been giving my dog extra big hugs today. :/

Good morning. =) -tips imaginary hat-
Um...if you're grabbing stuff for Akhliber, could you maybe grab a couple other things?

Good afternoon! And thanks, it has passed so completely that I had to think about it a moment for it to even register that the morning started so poorly, haha. It's kind of fascinating how dramatic the shift from "on" to "off" can be. Certainly not complaining. :)

Agent was practicing his grenade throwing skills, I think.
Try not to have too much fun with whatever errands you need to do.

EndreWhiteMane: The husband's a paramedic so there wasn't any real panic but it was bad enough to worry anyone.

Poor pup! I'll definitely be giving Sarge extra attention, and I even pulled his favorite chair away from the window, as it's become one of his "landing pads" when he loses his ability to contain himself and starts running rounds around the house. He's jumped into and bounded right back out of that chair with such speed lately that I was already beginning to worry some "what if's" about him and that window, as he *really* doesn't know his own weight... best not to take chances. I hope the little guy recovers as well as possible without going stir crazy.

superstande: Hello!
And apologies, 15 hours late :) Fell asleep last night and for some reason my workplace smart phone cannot be used to post messages here anymore...
Thank you for the kind words :)
Can't remember what I was going to say anymore, darn... But Alright, you and Agent's attitude for Gemini Rue is probably on par with mine for Space Quest 1-3, so I think I understand :)
No need to apologize. I'll be around, it's not as if you need to respond immediately to whatever I'm going on about. -laughs- And apologies, 15 hours late :) Fell asleep last night and for some reason my workplace smart phone cannot be used to post messages here anymore...

I actually hope Gemini Rue is better than expected. I like the idea for the setting, so if the only problem is a crappy shooting section I can get around it.

CarrionCrow: Good afternoon. =)
I don't know a huge amount about computer parts, but they both seem good at a glance.
Would check out tech sites, find some comparative tests for the two processors to see which one is ultimately the better item, evaluate what the gaming motherboard has versus the other that merits the higher price. That's what comes to mind.
Yep. My problem is that i have decide between better single core performance vs. better hyperthreading. And the AMD FX is older than the Skylake CPU but it got a good revamp this year with a really good boxed cooler.... *big return hug* Well i initially thought about picking the GTX970 (the GTX 980 is a bit expensive for me) but the R9 390 is just better. But it's good to hear about the AMD based computers. I mean i also run a AMD computer at the moment and i never had really big issued with AMD

If the hyperthreading makes up for the slower performance, get that. If not, go with straight power. I'd probably go with the AMD if you're not running into problems due to its age. With that much stuff, you're going to want as much cooling as possible, I think.
Additional - Yes, 1,001 Spikes, please put more spikes directly under the door so my character can be impaled at the very end during the 1 second they need to open the exit door.
Fucking asshole.

Well depends. It can help with modern games that actually make use of more than one core...and i also think of having the slightly cheaper variant as a transitional build to able to upgrade to the upcoming Zen/Polaris stuff quite easily :) I'd probably go with the AMD if you're not running into problems due to its age. Well AMD hasn't really made any new Desktop CPUs in the last few years and they are still quite good from what i understand. Should be able to play games like Witcher III, Ashes of the Singulariy and GTA V (for example) without any trouble.
Another perfect game for you?

That works. It's a stepping stone build that won't slaughter your budget until the new stuff hits. Depends on your definition of perfect...
Regardless, I bought it, so it's getting beaten.

Exactly. That's what i had in mind anyway. I wanted to build a PC that i can use for some time and which easily upgradeable :) Depends on your definition of perfect...

Like it's made for you :P
But i'm beginning to question who the actual masochist in that relation is...maybe it's the game? O.O
:P

The game isn't really anything special. It's yet another "fuck you for not being psychic" title, which is pretty much the cheapest, lamest way of producing something that kinda sorta not really at all resembles a difficulty curve.
