It is nice to hear you are doing okay, and are having a quiet day, those are always nice.

My day has been good for the most part, some breathing problems today, which I am hoping is not pneumonia again or something similar due to my very poor immune system at the moment, but other than that not too bad a day. The only real bad thing was that my scans and tests have been cancelled. I was supposed to have them tomorrow, which I wanted to get out of the way as they were very important and would decide where we were going next and how things were getting on and some other things. But it is not the hospitals fault, some jerk decided to set fire to a car in the carpark, which spread to some of the main building. Luckily none of the machinery were badly damages, but they will need a few days to get everything cleaned up due to the smoke, and test it is all still okay. There is a very tight schedule for some of the tests due to limited number of machines, but they are hoping to fit me in next week rather than make me wait a while again, which was nice of them.

But anyway, enough of all my ramblings. How are you liking the new releases this week?

For fuck's sake...I'd ask why the idiot chose to do that, but I've already answered my own question.
I hope they get everything fixed quickly so you can get the tests done soon.

Right now, Duskers, Megamagic and Salt & Sanctuary on the rental store are getting my attention in terms of new items. Exanima also looks appealing, but it's in development, so it has to take a back seat to buying completed titles.

Thank you. I am glad the hospital contacted me to let me know rather than have me turn up tomorrow and find out then. As to why he did it, who knows. It is possible he stole the car, parked it up and burned it thinking it would hide any DNA evidence or fingerprints, who knows why people do this kind of stuff. It is just good that no one was hurt, and by the sound of it no real damage to the hospital.

To be honest I have not really been checking the new games much. I have not really been in a gaming mood for a while now, so I have not really been interested in the new ones. I have had a quick look, and so far none that really jumped out at me, but I am glad to hear there are some you are looking forward to, hopefully they will be good games and not more fodder for you to grind through. :-)

Yes, that was considerate of them. No point in adding more wasted time on top of the frustration.

Oh, I have no doubt that Salt and Sanctuary will be a grind. But it's intended to be, so that's different. -laughs-

Beyond that, it's waiting for the sale to show up. Figure that'll be here in less than a month, maybe as soon as 14 to 21 days from now.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that if nothing appealing shows up for you before then, you'll at least have a chance to wipe out your list for good. =)

I have had previous appointments where I travelled all that way only for them to tell me it was cancelled and they "forgot" to let me know. But it is not the end of the world. i will be going to see my doctor tomorrow just get get a check up about the possible pneumonia (or what ever it is), but over all I am not too annoyed since I can still get the tests next week. If I had to go to the back of the waiting list I would have been quite annoyed, but a few more days won't hurt.

Hopefully not. My self-imposed gifting and buying ban has started now, so for my list to be gone it would mean people gifted me games, which I am not the best at. If not for Moon and Owl being big meanies my list would be hidden now. :-)

Ah, ok, I was beginning to wonder, there. For some reason, the closest association my mind formed was "skate park", where people take skateboards and ride around and do tricks and stuff. Which, if one did with a car, would likely explain how it got set on fire.

We tend to use the word "skate park" as well, but I also think it was borrowed from the US, as skateboarding is a much bigger thing over there than it is here. But I could be mistaken.

Well there is nothing I can do about it, so no point getting myself too worked up over it all. And things could be worse, the machines could have been damaged, or heaven forbid someone hurt by the fire. Also after all these months of nearly dying, one crap thing after another, and all the ups and downs, I tend to take the health stuff as it comes rather than get too annoyed over it all (if that makes sense?).

I know, and I know people just like to be their wonderful and generous selves. But you know I am not good at getting gifts. *sighs* I blame Hyper for all of this. He was the one that made me share my wishlist to begin with on the Wiki some time ago. Since then it has been horrible with all those evil gifters out there. :-)
