FearfulSymmetry: Hahaha, well done. :P My day is fine, I'm not doing much today. Handed in another thesis chapter yesterday so I can afford a little break. :)
Very glad to hear you're getting some mental downtime. You've been needing it for a while.
Good morning cool kids who just showed up :-)

*comforting hug for Yez's poor wallet*
*tips helmet to Crow and admires his game collection* :-o
*opens a little bottle of champagne to celebrate another thesis chapter done for Fearful*

Good morning. =)

Eyeing some Sherlock Holmes here, that collection might get a little bigger. -laughs-

How're you doing today?
Oh my...!

What a delightful surprise right after the mini-exam on penal law I just had (which I'd appreciate if you didn't ask about thank you very much).

Yarrr me's only gripes is dat, dem pesky bilgerat ninjas snuck yet agin on an honest pirate. An' she went an' handed me a booty full o' gothic stuff.

Let Moonshine feel th' wrath of piratey retribution. I will board her posts and sink them under a fusilade of +1.

And so shall YOU!

In other news, a friend of mine convinced me to "invest" on some double Es.

Doing pretty well. Can't sit still, and am ready to jump out of my own skin, thanks to new meds I think. Other than that though, no complaints :-)

Played any of the Sherlock games before?

-laughs- Ninja attack, eh? Yeah, she's really good at that.

CarrionCrow: Slowly marching towards 1,200 here. How's your day going? =)
I'm thinking you should change that eye in your avatar with Smaug's.

where's the weak spot in your game encrusted belly?

Watch out for any stuff that causes involuntary movements beyond the standard anxiety and/or mania issue spinning like a top feeling. That shit can become permanent if the fuckers have you on it long enough.

Kept going back and forth on the Silver Earring title, but hadn't grabbed it. Seeing the bundle is slowly convincing me to pick it all up, though. (And no, ninjas, that is not your cue. Thank you, though. ;P)

I figured everyone knows my weak spot - explosively, ridiculously, absurdly bad games. Stuff I know is going to do nothing but hurt, then I buy it anyway. -laughs-

Way too good.

So I'm thinking of getting all the EEs.
Is Icewind worth it too?

I like Icewind. It's a good counter to all the dialogue and talking to people in the Baldur's Gate games.
It starts fast. Very little lag time between starting the game and getting into full-on dungeon crawls.
It also sets the stage for Icewind Dale 2, which kicks the crap out of 1 in every way.

- here's a cheerful album.

(trying to motivate me for night shift, this works well)

No involuntary stuff yet. Luckily my doc is good at communicating and is very detailed, so if there is a problem, we get it sorted ASAP (a rare quality.) But nothing that bad so far - just some anxiety and headaches.
Thanks for the advice :-)

Yep, I've been playing some games and it's really good to be able to clear my mind for a bit. :)

Not a problem. You've got enough bullshit grief to deal with, don't need more problems while you're trying to get it all fixed.

Playing Runner 2, going for a kill it dead run. (Doing absolutely everything so there's no reason to ever touch it again after the uninstall.)

Other than that, it's a standard day. Getting enough coffee in my brain to make the headache go away.
Thrilling stuff, I know. -laughs-

Yeah, I'm doing well, thanks :-)
Got any fun plans for the weekend?
