CarrionCrow: It looks nice, the music's good, and the difficulty is punishing if you set it on hard. It's the best endless runner-type game I've played.

Would be willing to bet that you're right on the stress thing. Caffeine sometimes helps with headaches, so that'd explain the tea being useful.
Sounds good. I can't say I've played a lot of those kind of games. In fact, I can't really recall when I played one last. :P

Ah, I didn't know that. Well, I'd go for coffee then, if I had a good coffee machine. Unfortunately I only have one with those pads that taste like crap, so I never use it.

They're hit and miss. Bad ones are either very boring, very annoying, or both.

Understandable. Why spend money on something that'll be awful to drink.
Found some of the very worst coffee I've ever tasted, and it was in one of those pods. It's so bad, I wouldn't give it to a stray animal to drink.

CarrionCrow: Damn it, my licorice is petrified. This is like chewing synthetic jerky.
I don't care much for chewy liquorice. I'm more of a rigid liquorice man, prefering to suck on a black hard stick.
What?

I was checking the ponies, thinking about how ironic it'd be if your ironic purpose in gifting them to me would be entirely undone, when I enjoyed them unironically.
Then I noticed how only one of the books is actually pencilled by Andy Price.
You win this time evil avian.

Well, everyone needs a hobby. It sounds like you found yours, and more power to you. =)
Time to run errands. Yay.
Back in a bit.

ElTerprise: Hm...Shouldn't be Offworld Trading Company out by now? It's out of Early Access......
Is that related to Offworld Resource Base? Which of course I haven't played, but looks cool :-p
Hello - been wrestling with computer issues all day and most of yesterday, not a lot of fun. Finally got the computer and then Firefox up and running again, came to check GOG and found that Christmas had come early.

A huge thank you to Moon and Crow for their generosity, I'm quite overcome by their kindness. Please add +1's to their posts whenever you see them.

And GOG - thank you so much for the Sherlock Holmes bundle, it brought back very happy memories from my childhood, and gave me a huge smile.

No, I'm not that old (or that young), but my father always read to us every night before bed from his well-worn treasured copy of the stories. Not sure if the games are any good, but I'm smiling anyway.

Oh, and for me a French Press (coffee plunger) is the best kind of coffee maker because it's simple and works every time. Just buy some decent coffee and add water. :-)

Have a great evening or day. I'm off now, as it's not free internet time and the end of the month is nigh...

Fades away, still smiling gratefully ...

Just a quick little hello to you all. Pup's not feeling too well after yesterday's surgery, so we've been spending the day lying on the floor on a pile of blankets. I think we both did more napping than we meant to. :)

I hope you're all having a lovely day!

I don't think so but i'm not sure about it. OTC is an economic strategy game.

I can personally confirm that all of them are brilliant games.

Buying? Perhaps.
Playing? Not so much.
Nobody has any time to play games anymore.
