So what did we get while I was out? Platformers and Gothic?

My facial expression remains unchanged.

Since it seems we're about to enter the final stretch. I have to decide what I'm gonna get.

Will probably get some platformers, still need to rebuy Spacechem.
Not the least bit interested in Gothic.

Anything you're already considering?

Why, are they actually any good?
I'm pretty sure Gothic was made by Piranha Bytes, wasn't really interested as Risen 2 was terrible.

Hurm, last day for the 85% discount.
I'm still debating wether or not to get the EE editions since I haven't played the original ones yet.

Aside from that... bits and pieces from different bundles.

I have most everything off LucasArts but Afterlife, Outlaws and the game that must not be named.
And what's the consensus on the horse games?

At the very least the EE changed the interface which might be good or bad. :P
People do complain that you can mod the originals to do most of the same things.
I'd rather just click install and be able to play immediately though.

Outlaws is pretty good, level design is a bit iffy at times though.

Haven't played M&B.

Uh well. You choose exactly the game that many people did not like because of changes to the combat system and because of the setting.
You can't really compare that to the Gothic games (the AddOn for the third game does not count - also not done by Piranha Bytes). While I personally liked Risen 2, it totally was the weakest of the Piranha Bytes games. Gothic 2 on the other hand is the best and totally awesome. And Gothic 1 is also great, it just takes a bit to get used to the control. And Gothic 3 isn't too bad either, you just need the community patch, since it is a bit buggy. Which in that case is not Piranha Bytes fault since Jowood forced them to release it early, leading to the break-up between Jowood and Piranha Bytes.

Hurm, I have Gothic 2 in my backlog.
Should I get the other 3 for completionist's sake?
Not all that keen on the 3rd ones.

Or maybe I should spend some money on those EE games?

Well, I suggest getting at least the first one. Because it is good and you'll enjoy the second one even more because of getting references and meeting people you got to know in the first one (otherwise you'll always be the amnesia guy saying "did I know you?").
The third one itself is really fun, so I'd also consider it worth the money. But stay away from the AddOn, that is a piece of ***:

In regards of the EE games. Well, can't give you an opinion on that, you'd better talk to someone who played them ;-)
