EndreWhiteMane: Can you guys see me coming or what?
Good night all 3 of you. Sleep well. :-)

If I ever write a game it's going to say; Full 64 bit graphics not nostalgic of a damn thing. ;)
-laughs- You just have amazing timing.

There's a thought. You can be one of the only people not trying to somehow beat a dead horse.

Yeah, I'm starting to read the word nostalgic as 'shitty'. :-)
I did buy Runner 2 though, very fun and the graphics are actually gorgeous in spite of being simple.

It frequently is, so that's good. =)

Yes, that's the best game of that bunch, I think. Played it, enjoyed it most of the time, beat it.

Prediction:
"Beat A Dead Horse Simulator", on Steam Greenlight.
Remember, I called it first.
Well...I just rebought CDF Ghostship (which included Ghostship Aftermath). So yeah. It wasn't bad back when I tried it last year, it just wasn't "amazing" and its money was more useful elsewhere at the time.

Sometime in the coming weeks I'll repurchase Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. I've replayed it to death (undeath?)...and will continue to do so into the far future! Utterly fantastic game, love it to death.

...life ain't so bad haha. How is life treating you all?

ddickinson: Good evening, seller of soup from the land of the Moomins! :-)

Glad to hear you are happy today. It is nice that the sale is stacking up so that you have chance to wait to be paid. Have you seen many games that caught your eye?

My Tuesday has been good, thank you.
Sorry. Was too tired...
Good to hear :)

There are some interesting ones, some of the point'n'clicks at least.

Looking forward to getting a lot more Bloodlines time in here soon. Thinking I'll grab it after the sale ends since I've so far got a grand total of zero confirmed items of interest from the sale itself.

Can't complain here, it's a standard quiet evening. Played some Resident Evil 4 earlier, that's about it.

How's your night going?
Good morning, everyone!

*bad weather escape hugs*
Good morning, lovely people of Fred!

I hope you are all having a lovely mid-week?

*energisting hugs, waves, and some fresh apple and peach juice that I just finished making*

Not quite, we saw a crowd of young nurses running in our direction and they were screaming something about a guy shouting about his lawn and carrying a big nurse-ctaching net. :-)

*big hug*

CarrionCrow: It'll have to reach a breaking point. Unfortunately, no one knows how long it'll take for that to happen.

-laughs- That wouldn't surprise me a bit...

Have a good night, sleep well. =)
I guess the industry could just stop being greedy and there would be no need for it to break, but big companies tend to operate with a complete lack of logic most of the time.

Thank you. I hope you had a good night as well.

No need to be sorry, feel free to respond whenever you like, if at all.

There are indeed some nice games in the point and click bundle, and a few other bundles as well. Any in particular that catches your attention?
Good morning Fred and all Fred-dwellers!
*big hugs, and a tip of my helmet*

*big hug, and happily takes some juice* Thanks :-)

What do you think of the newest bundles that have appeared overnight?

Still nothing for me from the bundles. A few look a little interesting, but none that I think I will be getting. How about you?

Here is one for you. A FISTFUL OF GUN is currently £4.09 for me if bought separately here on GOG. Yet if I got to Humble I can get the Divolver bundle and get A FISTFUL OF GUN and a few other Divolver games DRM-Free (and with an extra Steam key) for about £0.69 for the lower tier which includes A FISTFUL OF GUN.

Just finished looking through the ones I'm unfamiliar with... Meh :-) The pixel bundle doesn't really interest me, except for Aquaria, which I have elsewhere. And it is a lovely and pleasant little game.

Sounds about right. Seems we always get stuck with higher prices here. But, on the other hand, Humble doesn't have a Battle Sister, a Valkyrie, a Crow, an Owl, a grumpy old Viking lawn owner, etc. all in one place :-)

Aquaria was one of the games that appealed a little, but not enough to make me want it at the moment. :-)

That is true, but I don't get when they have their game on sale for pennies elsewhere, but still don't give a huge discount here as well. Even if they charged £1 for the game here, that is still more than the lower tier on Humble, and that is for one game not three, and I only get a GOG version and not two copies of the game (DRM-Free and Steam). I guess they rely on people not knowing about Humble, or wanting all their games here. It is not the first time this kind of thing has happened, and I can see why so many people like Humble when you consider the savings you can make.

I've heard it referred to as a "metroidvania" ... which means nothing to me. Like "roguelike", I am not sure what this silly made-up nonsense gamer word means ;-)

All I can say is... I have no idea how Humble works, and why game developers are so willing to let their games sell for fractions of a penny there õ__Ô and as you said, nowhere else. It's not like Humble is totally unknowns - many bundles sell hundreds of thousands of copies. *shrug* I'll never understand how that works. I'll just play the damn things :-)

it looks like a lovely game, but I just don't think I would play it anytime soon, or if it is really for me. What do you think of the bundles so far? I think there has been a nice mixture so far.

Who knows, it just seems strange that some games are okay being in bundles for so cheap but often don't have a big sales discount, like Lifeless Planet, for example.
