ddickinson: No big loss if not. I have more than enough games in my backlog anyway. But it would be nice to get my wishlist down, or maybe even empty it before I have to limit my game buying.

You just need to use the angle of being concerned, then you look less nosy when being nosy and more caring. :-)

There is only two for me on the list, and those depend on how they turn out (Defenders Quest 2 and Outlast 2). I liked Defenders Quest, so if the second one is similar then I will get the game, I just hope they don't change it too much. Outlast 2 is a mixed bag for me. I will wait to see what the storyline is, and if the specs are too high for me. But hopefully neither will be the case as I really liked the first game. The rest of the list are games I have never heard of for the most part.
At least you've only got seven left. Would be a bit surprised if at least one of those doesn't show up before the end of the sale.

I don't feel like being nosy at all, though. ;)

Those two are also on my list. Beyond that, I'll check each item as it appears, then decide.

Additional - Just turned Resident Evil 4 on, went outside, got my head chopped off by a guy with a chainsaw.
That was fast. -laughs-

I had to look there to see how many I still had. :-)
I am sure a few will appear. There are a few on my wishlist I am looking forward to trying, so it would be nice to grab a few on sale.

I know, I was just giving you a good excuse if you ever wanted to be nosy with someone else. :-)

I am a big unsure about Outlast 2. I liked the story on the first game, but some of what I have heard about the second has me a bit unsure about it. But I rarely get games straight away, so I will wait and see how it turns out. Hopefully they have put the effort in and are not just replying on the name to sell it. Even the Whistleblower DLC started to cut corners compared to the base game.

I also don't get why the upside down cross is always used as a satanic symbol now. From what I can remember that was only started in the 1960s by some American. The upside down cross is actually the cross of Saint Peter, who did not feel worthy to be crucified in the same manner as Jesus Christ, so they crucified him upside down. At least according to Christian theology.

I never played Resident Evil 4. I think Code Veronica or Zero where my last ones on the GameCube (the recent PC Resident Evil 1 remake and Zero games are just ports of the GameCube versions). I like the earlier games more than the newer, the newer ones just became shooters for the most part, not to mention the story changes and character alterations.

ddickinson: We have been having some mixed weather as well, going from nice and sunny to heavy rain. But nothing too bad. No snow though. I am glad to hear your day is going decently despite the weather.

My day has been good, thank you.
Thanks. It's mostly the snow that bothers me - i mean i'm more than used to rain ;)
I guess it's just April weather in a nutshell :)

Glad to hear that :)

Oh and the list you linked to has some really interesting games on it - but i also haven't heard of some of the games mentioned...

How can you not like the snow, it is lovely. :-)

The list is apparently only a piece of what could be on GOG, but who knows how accurate it is and how many more games are still to be discovered. I just hope that by revealing it all it does not effect them coming here in any way?

I get the feeling Outlast 2 won't be bad. Could be wrong, but that's the gut response to it.

Would chalk that up to people being unwilling to even take the time to research their own religion. Panic and outrage are easier than thinking.

I played the old Resident Evil titles, this is my first time playing 4. It's got action, but it does also retain a good atmosphere and general survival horror elements. I've got a couple guns, but I'm also getting nervous about how low my ammo is running...
Can anyone tell me why my avatar won't show? I used to be a forum member, last year and it worked no problem then.

I asked gog to close my account so that I could re open it using the same name again (Due to an ocd issue lol).

I lost all my rep, which wasn't much anyways, but now I can't get my avatar to stick in the forums. Is there a minimum time or rep I need or something on the forums or something else?

Avatars sometimes take a while to change.
Might even take a week or more.

As you can see it has already changed, but you can only see it in replies right now.

Ok well if it's just a timeframe thing, that's no biggy. Strange that it only shows in replies. lol

Thanks, eh?

ElTerprise: Well it sounds like a Bethesda game then... i had to fix a quest in Skyrim once via console. Yep I thought about getting it at 10 at most :)

I think the choice of bundles added today is interesting considering the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl catastrophe.....first the radioactive one and now the Fallout one xD
Skyrim ... ah, Skyrim. I think I had to fix at least ten quests with the console the last time I played it. :P But yeah, Bloodlines can't really help it, given that Troika was disbanded by Activision as soon as the game was released (and that release itself was forced way too early). I think I remember reading some ex-Troika employees even worked on the game in their spare time to release at least one patch. Considering all that it's truly an amazing game. One wonders what they might have accomplished with a bit more time.

Haha, yeah, that is kind of awkward.

Never really liked it....cannot even tell you why that it :)

Well some of those have and api.gog.com address which makes them more likely than others. Something like Dwarves should be pretty certain though because i backed it and chose a GOG-Key when asked :)

I chose to use the unofficial patches for my second playthrough which helped a lot although i still had to work around some glitches....it's great how broken Bethesda releases their games and they get away with it....

Well i guess it might've been an even way better game but on the other hand Troika's other games were also somewhat buggy from what i've heard.

Slightly :)

They might be waiting until release for that one.

Yeah. And I do hope there's not going to be an in-development era for Crawl that takes another 2 years :P
Don't know has it been that long, but sure feels like it to me.
