moonshineshadow: We need a plant-murderer badge ;-)
I started Evil Genius. Problem was, there were long periods were it was boring and then periods which were hectic and stressful. Somehow not the right balance. But I'll finish it one day :D
Writing this down ,','):-|
Yeah, that's how I felt too. Trying to earn money was boring as pluck +__+ ... and when those nasty Agents show up, things always get too overwhelming. I assure you, not all Agents are that annoying :-p
Speaking of Agents... How about Puzzle Agent? :-)

AgentBirdnest: It could do with an improved stealth system, and maybe some fixes for things like clipping. As long as they don't go too far and make the game unrecognizable... but of course they would :-p

*big slightly disappointed by usual promo hug* :-)
You have seen how they handle remakes these days, it would not even be NOLF anymore. It would probably just be a CoD clone. Are there any good remakes these days? The Resident Evil remake was actually just a port from the GameCube remake that was over a decade old.

*big hug*

ElTerprise: Unlikely - as i already own them after i bought the interplay line-up when it was 90% off in one sale at a point where i was only missing a few interesting items from it :)

Thanks - and I'm glad to hear that :)
Mostly room cleaning so far.
I figured you would have most of what you wanted, especially the Star Trek games.

That does not sound too bad, things could definitely be worse on a Friday than some cleaning. :-)

ElTerprise: Moin everyone *big hugs and waves* :)
*appropriate-sized hug*
Moin yourself. Anything at all from the promo that you are interested in? (Assuming you don't have all of them :-p)
Edit : Oops, just saw your next post :-)

Well, I already know that not all Agents are that annoying. I know one who is a really nice person ;-)
Puzzle Agent? Fun game. Already played both :D
Still hoping for a third one, the story didn't feel finished.

The fan-made Half-Life remake was pretty good. It was loyal to the original, without feeling too dated. Unfortunately, it went from being a free mod to a $20 game on Steam :-(
Other than that, I haven't really played many remakes that I can remember.

Exactly, that was fan made and originally free, done out of passion for the game. Other remakes are cash grabs trying to mix too many things together and just change the game completely due to the committee behind it all.

You, lovely lady, have just given me a rather large blushing smile :") Thanks.
I just started it, and am having fun with it so far. Really fun puzzles. Much more thinking is required than the other Telltale games :-)
... what about any other Telltale games? Are you into those?

Return to Castle Wolfenstein was a really good remake of the original ;-) ... at least, the first minute of the game is a remake. Beyond that, it is not :-p

ddickinson: *big Friday hug*

I know, that is what I told her. :-)

Are you looking forward to the weekend?

That is why they are so dangerous, because they look so cute. :-)
I'm looking forward to completely geeking out this weekend. I don't get to do that too often. Although I will have to spend some of my energy on dodging Nerf gun fights.

Well, I have Tales of Monkey Island. Started that but not finished yet. It just didn't have the charm of the old Monkey Island games.
I think the only other game I have is Hector: Badge of Carnage, perhaps I should have a look at that :-)

Well, I mean, as soon as you said the word, that was as good as summoning me.
That's probably the most accurate GIF of me and this thread that I've seen yet.

Go for the six-shooter. Always go for the six shooter. The big guns take too long to load.

You might have missed a crucial part there...

So the great Nerf war has begun. :-)
I hope you will have a lovely geeky weekend. Hopefully you won't come back with shell-shock from all those Nerf bullets. :-)

I still haven't played the original Monkey Island games :-| *embarrassed* ... I just got them recently. Maybe I'll make that my next adventure game, after finishing either Lumino City or Kyrandia (I'm pretty sure you have played both of those?)
So, you are into police stuff, then? :-) How about Police Quest?
