AgentBirdnest: Everything is back for me.

IAmSinistar: Likewise, thanks Agent!
Me too. I guess it wasn't them stealthily loading Diablo 2 onto the front page. ;)

Really? And I thought you were a pro ice cream eater, where are your skills in shielding your icecream? I am disappointed in you :P

Hey everyone.

I think I know what the problem with GoG has been, I received an email today asking to help break Galaxy tomorrow night. Clearly they have been 'stress testing' the site for the past few weeks and that's why it keeps breaking. It all makes sense now! ;)

How are we all this fine night? :)

Well, they did add the Stress Test post to the front page. Not a good omen that it brought things down on its own. ;)

detoxing here, I keep thinking about impaling Balder knights with the Dragon Sword or throwing soul arrows at hollows, snickering as they go down without even knowing what hit them. But I must remain strong, so I am distracting myself with some light reading and watching the Carnival semi finals on TV.

So the galaxy client is finally being released tomorrow? About time, I wonder what it will be like.

Nah, it's not being released. Just a stress test with the games that already use it. I'd take part, but the only game I have of the three that use it is AvP and I suck at it XD

Might give it a go anyway if I'm around.
Found another bit of weirdness on GOG, not sure how long it's been the case. It has to do with GOGmixes.

Normally when you create a GOGmix, the background image of the mix is taken from whatever the top game on the mix is. You can see it and [url=http://www.gog.com/mix/regional_priced_games_on_gog]here. However, I notice that with newer games this image doesn't seem to be set, as seen here.

Odd, eh?
Good evening everybody :-)

Just out of curiosity - what GOGmix did you try to create?
I've never ever done this - they promoted the GOGmixes back in the "Good Old Games" days - there even were contests. Nowadays they live in the shadow - they are not even present on the main page anymore.

This is the most recent one in my collection. It's where I first noticed the absence of background images.
I'm back.
Awesome first day of work, really tiresome. Now gonna play Fire Emblem and purchase another Atlus title.

not any more weird than the strange flickering which progressed into full-on cocktail shakedown as you move through a game's screenshot list. Did they ever fix that?

Not sure, as I didn't get it very often in Palemoon. I've not heard many reports of it lately, but that could be down to people sick of bringing it up.
