Ghorpm: Yeah, I mean the classic bundle - 4th one was already pretty weak but at least it had some connection to the rest of the series. The fifth one - while not completely without good points - can be seen as an abomination when compared to the rest of the series.

The reboot games I haven't tried because I'm not using Steam.

omega64: The new ones are pretty different. They ditched the action points system and introduced 2 actions per turn.
I tried Xenonauts as people said it was like the older X-COM and I was curious. I couldn't even get past the first mission due to there not being any ingame tutorials though. :(
Yeah, I had the same feeling about Xenonauts - that the devs assumed that you've already played original X-COM series (at least the first three) which is just weird. I haven't finished the game yet but I had to make a break from it. Sadly, I don't enjoy it as much as I hoped.

Maybe one day reboot games will get a DRM-free release and then I'll try them...

You know what?! FUDGGIT! I'm going to blow all the cash I didn't use up during that rather pathetic insomnia. This week's been more interesting than the sale ever was anyway.

X-Com Bundle (delicious cake, with goat shit icing)
Freedom Force ('Cause: America F*CK YEAH!)
King's Bounty the legend (cute monster girl on the cover, how could I resist?)
Men of War (I have an RTS itch that must be scratched)
Two Worlds (I must complete this duology or I won't be able to sleep)
