Ne0plex: SOLUTION:
Download the "GOG Downloader"
Go to this link: www.gog.com/ downloader/ listing/ the_witcher_3_wild_hunt (without the spaces)
Click on the files that you want to download.
The files should now show up in the downloader.
I tried downloading it like that but the links are broken for me.

Moriah21: start from 0% ............
True, but only once. It seems with the "user-friendly" Galaxy Install approach, you start the download from the scratch each time there is an error during the download/install.

At least by downloading the installers (and manually installing them, and then importing the installed game to Galaxy, in case you want to play it through Galaxy and not independently), you don't have to try to download dozens of gigabytes repeatedly over and over again. In case you prefer not to have to do that. If the game needs a re-installation, just run the TW3 installer you already have on your hard drive.

Sometimes the older way is the more convenient way, as you are more in control then...

Im having similar problems. Gog Galaxy download halted at 99.5% with SERVER PROBLEM error. GOG.com downloader doesn't work either. It starts to download and then gives 'Checksum error on chunk 0, please contact support'

GOG is dissapointing, every experience I have had with it has been terrible.

FIX it NOW. DRM free my ass if I have to download from your broken website/utilities.
I have the same problem as GR1M4CE, but the opposite experience with GOG overall. I've bought, downloaded and played dozens of games from them and only once had to contact customer support. When they were able to reproduce the problem without finding an immediate fix, they refunded the cost in full, no trouble.
Has a fix for this been found? I can't download pillars of eternity because I keep getting the Sever Problem error.
Same here, every game, which I have installed and GoG Galaxy checks for updates ends with "Server - Error".
I was able to download Witcher 3 via Gog, after the installation however all updates failed, even the language packs. So I had to download them manually.

I don't think this is a temporary issue, as I'm getting it from the beginning. I've tried everything to get it work. Disabling AV and Firewall, forwarding all Ports, activating UPnP and so on. Nothing helped.
Without Galaxy you can still play the game by manual execute game exe file.

Sometimes automatic update Galaxy client seems broken, by uninstall it and install latest galaxy client manually in many case of my experience solve the problem.
I have the server problem error as well when trying to get the free DLCs working.

But I managed to install most of all the DLCs manually because they were still sitting in the !downloads folder for galaxy.
I reopened Galaxy and all the checkboxes in the configure screen for the game are now ticked. I managed to download all the DLCs a while ago when the latest released one came out before this server problem popped up...

Have a look in that directory to check to see if you have any exe files and install them that way.

So yeah, I would suggest like others to manually download the patches and the DLCs from the GoG website. Not via gog galaxy and then manually install them. And it should work when trying to run the game from Galaxy.

Hey Guys.

So i ran into this issue on the 14th of august while updating 1.08.1.

My Verification/Repair brought up this 'Server Error' issues. I put the issue down to a server overload.

48 hours later still the same.
I un-installed and re-installed from my Discs(retail version),, and now worst part is its failing to update as well.

Any help on this issue would be great.

Edit : Update

A few games in my library failed the verification test as well. a few of em are 'UT 2004' 'Witcher 1' ...

Ignotum: 4 days and still SERVER PROBLEMS!!!!
UPDATE:

I did download the installers separately and get the game running.
GoG Galaxy also launches the game...

BUT...
Each time i run Verify/Repair...i get the same damn 'Server Problem' error. Now, iam not sure whether my game is synced with GoG properly or not, and whether this will interfere with recognizing my achievements once again! :(

Hahahaha. I see your point, but would you like them to "Abracadabra" the install file to your hard disk? They do offer offline installers, use those for maximum safety (GOG is getting big and probably makes an attractive hacker DDoS target now, as well as the strain from increased userbase, although with the latter, they should be able to fix both problems as they will have more money to throw at the problems).
