You still haven't fixed this?!?! I'm trying to verify Witcher 3 game files, but keep getting this damned "server problem"... WTF GOG?!?!
Yeah, I can't seem to be able to launch Heroes 3 Complete Edition via GOG Galaxy properly on a very good gaming gear. I'm with GOG.com Support Team on this, apparently I have to be starting the system without the startup items (via msconfig.exe) in order for it to be working. After several tests, now I'm getting "server error" upon any attempt of installing ANY game from my library.

Galaxy is so annoying right from the start... Hope it gets resolved soon.

My advice, start the game without Galaxy :)
Believe me, I work in Support, too, and I did all kinds of freaky stuff there ;)

Found a solution, though - I disabled Nvidia GeForce Experience as a startup element and then it worked just fine.
EDIT: That worked only for the game, though. Galaxy is still showing server error.

ragnin: Has a fix for this been found? I can't download pillars of eternity because I keep getting the Sever Problem error.
NO, March 2016 buy games in the sale and not been able to download any of them with Galaxy, just get constant server error masseges. One of the guys on the stream suggested re-installing Galaxy so I tried that and still doesn't work. Also now its trying to update most of my other games but giving the server error on them to.

Going to try the direct download route. Wish the old downloader still work :-(
After running Witcher 3 without an issue I now have a constant server error, which looking at past posts was a problem in March. Has this now been fixed and if so what is the solution? The link in the above post from venom does not work.
Cheers
BUMP.

Same problem here, i need to repair my game >.< DVD installation of W3 have graphic issues

Possible fix for some who encounter this issue;

I ran into this problem on Windows 10 after not using GOG Galaxy for several months, I started it up and Gog Galaxy updated. I restarted Gog Galaxy, then tried to update my Witcher 3 installation to the latest patch but couldn't due to a 'Server Problem'. I decided to completely uninstall Gog Galaxy (leaving the Witcher 3 install alone!) and re-install Galaxy from scratch. I then added the Witcher 3 back into the Gog Galaxy library by selecting its folder on my PCs SSD and I was then able to update it OK.

"GOG GALAXY is a fully optional client to install, play and update your games" :P

It's been a month now that I try to update The Witcher 3 and always... "Server Problem"!

After six months is the second time I have the same problem, and every time I have to uninstall the client, reinstall it, and import one by one (because even scanning the folder does not work properly) the games I have on the hard disk!
And after I imported the folder the witcher 3 ... 9.3GB "Updating" :(

Unfortunately there is still a lot to improve and correct in Galaxy client :(

PS Sorry for my bad English

I've been having issues all day with installing games through Galaxy. Click the blue install button results in server problem. I can download the standalone installers though.
high rated
I fixed server problems by deleting this folder "C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage"
This will erase the info galaxy stores about your games installation, so you'll have to "scan and import folders" with your games afterwards.

Worked with The Witcher 3 at least.

PD: when you uninstall Gog Galaxy it doesn't delete this folders, so even if reinstall didn't work this may.

Have been having constant errors and server issues on GOG Galaxy with Witcher 3; reinstalled both Galaxy and TW3 but still no luck; could run outside GOG Galaxy but not in Galaxy.

This fixed it - now no problems! Thanks!

This works great thanks
+Rep HassassinZ, thanks a lot man!
I see that this is an old problem (and resolved already), but I am experiencing it the last couple of days. I purchased some games on the Black Friday offer and I tried the option "Backup & goodies" from Galaxy to download them to my hard drive. I get the server problem error for every file I download. I erased the storage folder (/Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Storage since I have a Mac) but this did not correct the problem. Any suggestions? Does anybody else have this problem nowdays?
