Robette: Ok... people made it to page 3 while staying civil, but I just have to ask this, is this a closet "SJW" thread? I get that people want games that suit their believes, but frankly, I would say that much of the pre-2010 gaming is relatively conservative, presenting classic good vs. evil themes, traditional gender roles (save the princess), or focus on heroic males solving the problems of the world? Outside of the recent burst of liberal agendas, gaming mostly was more on the conservative side.
If sex is an issue, that drops some games; if violence is an issue, that drops a lot more. Guess if battling God is an issue, that drops a good deal of JRPGs. I get that OP wants to keep it vague, but I honestly have trouble understanding what is meant with the question...
Anyhow... if you look for anything without violence, just about everything by Amanita Design is great.
The unironically most catholic game on here is probably Blasphemous.
The question in its self is not that difficult. The main focus revolves around specifying a background for the people who like to commit to the discussion and the other one is aimed at your experience with games.
But yea, closet SJW..... It is a nice term, feels a bit out of touch with the explanations that follows though, but yea in a way i guess any good christian, and maybe even bad ones... i guess bad ones would be sooner to receive that title,
can be conceived as a SJW by parties using those words
