PookaMustard: Oh my, Valve must have paid the Golden Joystick so hard to win themselves a place! Really, anyone who thinks the best gaming platform is Steam really needs to shoot themselves in the foot.

So I'm right when I say that Steam and PC are separate platforms!
I personally wonder how many of those awards are bogus, just presenting an award to those who would read them. I really think we should have a gamer's award ceremony for games on GOG.

We've had a lot of games come through here the past year that were some really great games and whether they were old games or new indie games, I think the developers are worthy of mention.

I mean best PC game, did they only ask for votes on Social Club? Best Innovation, FPS in GTA5, f* me the definition of innovation has changed drastically.
This is why I never both looking at these nonsense.

What would be worth it though? Witcher 3 is a great game but innovation is a bit much. So many unique games have came out, which one id call this most innovative i do not know.

I guess it was intended to be "best digital shop platform" or something like that but whomever made that list was ... unable (my first 10 word choices where different) to write it. Otherwise GTA5 would have been the best Steam game and not the best PC game...

Actually that would make more sense that how it is now since IIRC PC GTA is a steam exclusive anyway. Followed by that a best PC game candidate which needs at least 2 independent sources (i.e. Steam & gog; Steam-keys outside of steam do not count) would be neat.

GTA is not steam exclusive.

GTA's main DRM is Social Club, there are non-Steam and Steam versions but either way, you're still going through Social Club.
