Sometime recently I downloaded setup_battlestar_galactica_deadlock_rebirth_1.3.85_(31259)

Offline installer.

What I do is download updated files to a drive and then when I have several of them I copy them to my two backup drives of the games I bought (in this case GOG).

For the life of me I can't find where I downloaded this from as I can't find it again on my offline downloaders or my already bucked up locations.

Confused too...

So you downloaded the offline installer from GOG presumably to your usual folder on your hard drive and now you can't find the file?

Are you sure the download was completed?
Are you sure you downloaded to the correct folder (happens to me all the time to accidentally save ie. in "tmp" where a previous download was dropped.

The "Everything" tool usually helps me find files in the terabytes that have accumulated over the decades: https://www.voidtools.com/

Are you on Windows? Check the Temp folder.

Hit Window key + R and type "%TEMP%".

there was a fan made mod called rebirth and I tend to assume that is where you got the file mate... it is possible some staff member had it on the server for testing but I wouldn't stress about it or expect anyone to find this question in the general chat

That's so weird.


I didn't lose any file. I have an extra file. The file I mentioned in the op.

I think it might be the Battlestar Galactica Deadlock: Resurrection DLC, but renamed, since originally I think it was named Rebirth. I can find some mention of the rebirth sub-title, when discussing the season 2 of the game, and the Resurrection DLC is the start of the season 2.

For example this video talks about Rebirth, but if you enable subtitles, you can see that Rebirth is actually transcribed as Resurrection.

That makes sense, though for the life of me I can't figure out how I got hold of this file recently as I downloaded it at most a couple of weeks ago.
Anyway, I will accept it as the solution than worry too much about it.
