keremix: both freewares and remakes are fine

Fever_Discordia: OK this is interesting - GOG has Sid Meier's Colonization from 1994 but that was re-done and updated as a stand-alone total conversion expansion for Civ 4:
avatar
keremix: There is of course a relevance. But I decided to take them as separate series (Alpha Centauri series, Civilization series, Colonization etc)

avatar
Fever_Discordia: Oh speaking of Sid Meier, GOG has Pirates Gold which includes the original 1987 versions and the 1993 re-make but, turns out, it was remade AGAIN in 2005:
avatar
keremix: added Sid Meier's Pirates! (2004)
OK it's your call to add the entire Civ series or not but I think Civilisation IV: Colonisation should at least be added as a missing game from the 'Colonization' series as it's a stand-alone remake / 're-imagining' of the original game

OK cool - World of Sensi Soccer 96-97 needs removing now, obviously...
Does Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective qualify as being part of the "Sherlock Holmes" series or no because it's really its own series (Consulting Detective)?

removed Sensible World of Soccer 96-97

keremix: Apparently GOG team marked it as completed by mistake, good catch. So I will leave it as it is until it is corrected. Alternatively, I can change the link if someone adds the game on the wishlist again.

Fever_Discordia: Is there no way to get GOG to re-open it instead? seem a shame to lose the votes already cast...
Yes, there is. This is now fixed.

There's 2 more 'volumes' of that, apparently:

Did I hear right that the original Bard's tale games that come with the re-boot are actually an emulation of the Apple ][ versions? if so you could have an entry saying for the DOS versions, I guess...

not necessarily, unless DOS versions are superior to Apple ones...

From what I could gather, the DOS version of BT3 is a bit better but the DOS versions of the first 2 are actually not quite as good, didn't seem to see a major outcry either way though, so you're probably OK, I think the DOS and Apple versions are quite different to look at (so they are significantly different) but around the same quality in their own ways...
It really could go either way depending on how you feel about it, its a very unique case this one...

*edit*
ooh - you could include the Bard's tale Construction set though:
http://www.mobygames.com/game/bards-tale-construction-set
Which does contain a sample game so its not just a utility...
