He's asking how to play with a friend, didn't specify, possibly a Galaxy thing. I never used that feature, mostly stick with singleplayer or couch coop, but if anyone else has an answer I could translate for him.

Sorry, but I don't believe Guacamelee has online multiplayer; I believe the multiplayer is local only.

Edit: Removed explanation for why this particular game was mentioned.

dtgreene NO! That's racist, you can't just assume someone behaves in a stereotypical way just because of his language. He might not even identify as portuguese.

then maybe the game's name could have helped...
as some (very rare, too rare) GOG games do have online multiplayer features that work plain TCP-IP style, and even cross platform as well (ex i know about: grimdawn, windward...)

some has local multiplayer as in "local network" multiplayer, which can easily be turned into online multiplayer using vpn feature between trusted peers/friends

some have local multiplayer but all on same single machine and now it becomes harder to do anything remote

How was that post making an assumption about somebody's behavior? (Also, where does portuguese even enter into the equation? Portugal is a completely different country, and the language spoken there is not Spanish.)

Let's see... portuguese is the language being used by the op and the two following people.

What does spanish (or guacamelee) have to do with this thread?

Oh, so you'll remove the explanation as to why you were xenophobic, but you'll still leave the xenophobic comment in? Thanks.

And I don't even mean confusing the languages spoken here, even if you were right and it was spanish, assuming Guacamelee must be the game being talked about would still be crazy xenophobic.

If a latin person tells you they have a hat, do you just assume it must be sombrero?

I will not buy this record. It is scratched.

Right, the explanation. Does that mean you still stand by what you said?

Depends on the game, usually has some invite function. Shift+tab to enter the galaxy interface if the game supports it. But usually there's some ingame function for it.

Just why would y..... The others posters meant you made a generalization/assumption of his race/nationality because of the language he speaks and out of all things you chose Guacamole which is a spanish topping. Thats like saying "oh your black you must like chicken and watermelon". I think thats called a micro aggression but I could be wrong in the terminology.

Edit- Yes Portugal is a different country in a different part of the world with a different language. But they're very similar and many people make the mistake by assuming its spanish.

Portugal is not the only country where Portuguese is spoken officially, by the way; it's also the official language of Brazil, with more than 200 million people speaking it, not to mention Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau and São Tomé and Príncipe (and one of the official languages in East Timor and Macau).

Also, yeah, the OP was writing in Portuguese, not Spanish.
