NEW HALL OF FAME MEMBER!!!

The Bizarre Adventures of Woodruff and the Schnibble is now the fifth respectable member of the Hall of Fame! Well deserved, in my honest opinion.

Fury of the Furries and Bermuda Syndrome are the other games worth mentioning on this round.

Rusty 1993, +9 votes.

It's basically a Castlevania clone. It's a remarkable oddity too. It was released by a no-name company called C-Lab, a few months before Castlevania: Rondo of Blood was released, yet it has a ton in common with Rondo of Blood. Rusty is a vampire huntress who uses her whip to kill monsters and fight the evil vampire lord Monte Carlo.

FRANKENSTEIN: THROUGH THE EYES OF THE MONSTER (1995)

[currently 130 votes]*

Very underrated interactive horror adventure considering the amount of wishlist votes. It is published by Interplay so I don't see how it still did not get a release here despite all the Interplay games GOG has been releasing lately. It is a Myst style horror themed adventure with often use of FMV. One interesting point about the game is that Tim Curry is the starring actor. I am not saying it is an amazing game, but definitely a collectible gem that would attract horror adventure fans as well as FMV aficionados.

Secret Files: Tunguska (2006)

[Currently 178 votes]

"On June 30, 1908 an explosion with the combined power of 2,000 atomic bombs rocked the region of Tunguska wiping out over 2,300 square miles of trees. The explosion could be heard from 600 miles away. Eye witnesses say that they saw a large object fall from the sky which was illuminated in a bluish-white light. A dark mushroom-shaped cloud was followed by a 12 mile high column of light. To date, what happened on that day still remains a mystery… Prepare yourself for an unforgettable adventure, as you race against time to uncover a global conspiracy that will carry you to the far reaches of the world. Do you have what it takes to solve the Tunguska mystery?"

Secret Files: Tunguska is a classic third-person point-and-click adventure game clearly inspired by the old classics, presented against pre-rendered backgrounds with 3D models of the characters, and CGI animations for certain events.

GOOSEBUMPS: ESCAPE FROM HORRORLAND (1996)

[currently 227 votes]*

Certainly a great game for Goosebumps fans as well as any Horror (but not scary) adventure fans. It came out in 1996 and was published by DreamWorks Interactive. Probably a licensed title, but it could appear here if GOG contacted the license holders. It plays as a FMV -Jeff Goldblum is in it, how cool is that?!!!- and the graphics are very impressive for its time. I think this would also be a great time to negotiate for Goosebumps franchise considering the recent Goosebumps movie and game. If you are remotely interested in Goosebumps or FMV titles, you will love Escape from Horrorland...

This round's winner was Cold Fear, which was followed by Shadowcaster and Take No Prisoners.
We have two winners this time, The Sting! and Take No Prisoners, both of which significantly increased their votes.
Among the respectable five members of the Hall of Fame, GUN became the third game to be released!
