Off-topic question: Whenever I write a new post just after another of mine, it automatically adds the contents to the previous one. Is there any way to avoid it? (As the rules are for 1 entry per game).

That should only happen within 10 minutes merge frame.

Thanks.
So it's just a feature we all have to endure.

This is one the highest rated games on Steam. It's a game my wife plays, and I'm sure she'd prefer a GOG.com version since she hates clients and DRM.

Ah okay thank you !
Cadaver (1990, Bitmap Brothers - 71 votes)

Basically, it's Mystic Towers before Mystic Towers. An isometric action-adventure that gets insanely tricky and abstruse. For the most part though, it's very rewarding. Also, being by the Bitmap Brothers, the pixel art is fantastic.

Robot Arena: Design and Destroy   ( © 2003 Gabriel Interactive  ―  Currently 43 votes )

Robot Arena: Design and Destroy is a game about design and destruction.  You control a radio-controlled robot that has to fight against other robots in several arenas.  To win a battle, you can destroy the opponent's control board, immobilize the opponent, or simply get a better score.  There is a "league mode" where you compete against fifteen other teams in nine events.  The winner is the team with the most points at the end of the season.  This game has a dedicated fanbase and a community that is still active today.

Robot Arena: Design and Destroy is the sequel to Robot Arena.  Compared to its predecessor, it has many new features, such as the Havok physics engine, fully 3D environments (robots are now able to leave the ground), and the ability to completely design your own robot.  This includes chassis design, selection and placement of components (power, extenders, mechanics, wheels, weapons and extras), wiring, and paint job.  Weapons are completely customizable and can be mounted on various attachments, such as poles, disks, and tri-bars.  All parts can be taken for free as long as the weight limit has not been reached.
