WRATH: Aeon of Ruin is coming soon, DRM-free.

You are Outlander. Once adrift upon the Ageless Sea, you now find yourself on the shores of a dying world. From the consuming darkness emerges a figure cloaked in white, the Shepherd of Wayward Souls, who burdens you with the task of hunting down the remaining Guardians of the Old World. You must journey into the vast gloom to explore ancient ruins, discover forgotten secrets and battle the horrors that lurk within.

Fueled by legendary Quake 1 technology, the veins of WRATH pump with the DNA of revered '90s shooters. WRATH embraces the timeless elements of classic titles such as DOOM, QUAKE, DUKE NUKEM 3D, BLOOD, UNREAL and HEXEN and carries them into the 21st century.
Looks like Quake

blotunga: It's Quake
FTFY :P
Its not quake, it look way more like a mix between Painkiller/Quake.

Quakiller? Painquake? You decide!

Hexen 2 Necromancer. Totally.

Between this game and Ion Maiden, i think my retro FPS needs are beyond sated.
Leo the lion of Ruin would've been an even better title, looking at the forum :D
Am I hearing things or is the whispering sound loop during the packshot (near the end of the video) the exact same that is used for the Obfuscate ability in VtM:Bloodlines?

Interesting. The devs posted over on the Steam forum for the game that it'll be launching in Early Access so I assume it'll be an In Dev title here.

As long as it doesn't get shafted like Bombshell did when it came time to update the game, I'm all for it.
Now this is a gritty retro 3D aesthetic done well.

I was going to joke about how this'll be yet another retro throwback shooter that releases on GOG before DUSK does, but I don't think Early Access really counts...
I have conflicting thoughts about this. On one side it looks cool and combat seems good; on the other, upgrades and backtracking in open areas. Huge plus, huge minus. I'll wait to see more.

I was really hoping to see this make it to GOG right away. WRATH and Ion Maiden have me ecstatic to relive the glory days in the present. Can't wait for the purchase option!

Ya think?
Excellent. Glad this has finally been confirmed for GOG.
First Amid Evil, then Dusk, Prodeus, Iron Maiden and now this. GOG is getting quite the list of games. I want all of them you hear... ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!
