Time for a passionate visual novel – Womanizer is coming soon on GOG!

Victor is supremely confident in his ability to charm any woman with a single look, yet he's up against an incredibly challenging feat. This charismatic heartthrob made a wager with his closest friend: to seduce five girls from the city's victorious rhythmic gymnastics team within a week. What do you think – can these star performers resist the advances of such a seasoned womanizer?

Soon on GOG!
I wasn't expecting that to be quite so literal. This is like someone naming their game "Asshole" and when you read the blurb you find out that it's a game where you play a character who is an asshole, and that the publisher had figured they could best attract their target audience of players who wanted to be assholes if they just came right out and put it in the title.
The art style lacks flavour, but is at least competent. Which is more that can be said with the garbage Kagura craps out every week.

I agree! Maybe the art style is not 100% my cup of tea but I might take a closer look at it when it's out.

A more appropriate title might have been "Gigolo."
I'll buy it if the game has that Britney Spears song.

That's what I was about to say! Ha, ha!
Might be time to get a NSFW section?

Now GOG is not a safe site for kids to use, that is for sure.

Zoidberg: Rape culture is so cool... not.

Gladly pass.
Doesn't exist, also look up the definition of rape. It's not actually what you seem to think it is.

rew0gth: Doesn't exist,
Oh!, but it does, even in relationships and even marriages, too. Your response just confirms that, as culture is a way of normalising or the acceptance of something, such as rape or sexual violence, in this case...

The keyword here is 'Consent', without that, any form of sexual penetration with a penls on a non-consenting person would be classed as rape. Sexual penetration using other implements would be classed as sexual assault.

The type of game bothers me less than the apparent lack of quality.

Although I need to quantify that this kind of game seems unhealthy at best.

Someone within the organization should start looking at some quality control standards, and do some cost / benefit analysis on some of the game additions coming in.

And maybe I am wrong and this kiund of game IS what people are paying for....

Hmmm where do you see the lack of quality in this release ?
Art style is of course a matter of taste but if anything the drawings are looking competent/professional.
And Visual Novels are just another kind of game.

Reaper9988: And Visual Novels are just another kind of game.
Exactly this. And that is why there's no reason to treat them any different than you would treat any other games. I wish some of the so called gamers would finally understand this but no, we are having the same conversation in every single NSFW thread about it. These are games, no weapons and no drugs ... still just games .. games that don't harm anyone. You might not like them but it does not change this very fact.

If I look at the game description I also fail to see what "rape" has to do with anything in it. You are a guy and you are trying to SEDUCE women with his charms ... so sth. that is as normal as it could be - but maybe I missed the section in which it says: "no matter if they want or not".

Yes, please allow for 18+ filter account setting for these games for those who don't want it. Like Steam and NexusMods.

But come on, you know full well CDPR's games have sex and prostitution in them. Why are these irresponsible puritans letting their kids browse this store knowing fully well that that kind of content is being sold here? Get them back on Neopets if you're so concerned about protecting their innocence.

And also the fact that the GOG user agreement literally says they cannot legally provide any services to youth < 16 yo. So people letting their kids browse this site have clearly decided to ignore these terms and therefore GOG should not be responsible for these people's decisions.

Looking elsewhere then claiming something doesn't exist is no valid argument. :) kthxbye
