We are not going to play this. xD
Couldn't resits to make a joke, please don't throw things at me.

Since it will be available DRM free maybe it will get its audience, no matter how small.
Anyway, it's good that somebody is at least trying to challenge Sports Interactive in the football manager genre.
I hope this'll be a good manager game, yearly releases of conventional sports games are getting old.

We Are Soccer?
I'm not digging the marketing scheme whereby they put the title in all caps. That's quite annoying IMO.
Hopefully it will be good. We shall see.

Crosmando: We Are Soccer?
Made by Europeans for Europeans :3
Something i have been looking for. Competition to FM AND available on GOG. Hopefully they make a great sim (surprised they seem to have official licenses?... unless im wrong?)

Unfortunately, it seems you are :(
From the game page:
"The game doesn’t include any official football licenses.
The game comes with an editor which lets you create your own leagues or clubs"

Well... at least one can always create their own favorite team with customized players, it seems.
Ohh.. i'm getting this for sure. Modern football simulator and on GOG too? That's a dream. Also the lack of official licenses doesn't bother me. Surely there will be mod that allow us to import real teams by the game editor.

I missed that part. Assumed they had due to screenshots.
However doesnt matter to me. Football and Championship manager games i always used generated teams and players anyway :). As long as u have a decent editior its all good :).
Does this include the grifting and corruption aspects of the management?

Also what is the G-Man's younger, more attractive cousin doing up there?

This is the soccer manager who is going to compete with the football manager. In the forum where I speak it has been very well received that they add this game to gog.

They only do for the Bundesliga as the devs are German. The rest are team names only, while player names are faked like in PES and the latest Eastside Hockey Manager. If the game is successful enough, fans will make updated rosters anyway.

Would love to see alternatives to FM.

Big red flags here though.

Unknown game dev studio - founded recently, no web presence, random page from three years ago suggesting they've made some web games.

Promising women's leagues as a "feature" - well if the leagues are automagically generated with fake names/teams then all you need is a female name algorithm and some code to handle pronouns.

No linux support for a modern game from a new studio. Why?

I'm still intrigued but I hope it is cheap if it is a project which seems to be relying on players to make the game work.

Also no Linux support = no purchase from me.
